European Gambling And Betting Association (EGBA) points out the utmost importance of establishing a rulebook which will protect consumers all over the continent.

The majority of current European regulations exist at the national level only!

The internet has no national borders, which means Europeans can easily play on gambling websites based in countries other than where they live.
