Ugg I know there is one that keeps trying to get into my affiliate accounts he just does not get it that we are now on a password protected generator! ... dumb ass

Nice how do I get one of those? Sounds smart. I am useless with passwords. Keep forgetting if I change them. I also use lot of the same password several places which is stupid right??
I also don't like affiliate programs and casinos etc. Which sends you email with password shown. I don't get why they have to do that.
I even had a shock today speaking to someone at one of my creditcard companies here in UK. She asked can you confirm you password 4th and 7th letter.??? WTF so she can sit and see my secure password to my online account? Should I report that as can't be right they can see that. Though all password were secured :(

There is NO reason ever to give your password out to anyone not even a credit card company, never even a partial! I would hang up on anyone that dared ask me that!
They can be lying and not really from your bank please never give anything like that out to anyone. I don't like when affiliate programs do that either also never use the standard password reminder ?- make your own and use a different one each time.

I had am AM ask for my pw which was odd. He was imo a top notch AM so I gave it to him but changed it just after.

What you need to pay attention for is a keylogger virus.
If you see the most subtle delay when you enter keystrokes, let it ring a bell in your head.
I know last week I received an email that I had asked for a recovery user id from my tax software. Clearly did not.

If you're in taking banners/links, go take a peek at your pmop.

Also challenging a hacker in an open forum is not too smart either, imo.

Here is a password generator and a javascript bookmarklet - http://angel.net/~nic/passwd.current.html. The way bookmarklets work is instead of bookmarking a web page, you enter that javascript code as url of the bookmark and each time you use that bookmark in your browser, it pops up the password generator. More handy than standalone app in my opinion, besides you can use the bookmarklet even when you are offline. There is also an iPhone version and it should work on Android 2.2+ devices.

I have been using heavily modified version of this which detects domains and usernames automatically as well as fill all password fields automatically.

You might also want to use a bookmarklet which removes restrictions for remembering passwords. For example you cannot save a password for paypal in your browser's password list without that bookmarklet. Of course I would only recommend you using it with your browser master password enabled.

I found malwarebytes to be the absolute best anti-spyware program. When my credit card details were somehow stolen, I scanned my computer with several anti-spyware programs. Malwarebytes is the only one that found the spyware and removed it.

could not help laugh when I received this today in my main email address :p :D just be careful out there guys. These idiots gets worse and worse :p :D

Dear Account Owner.

VERIFY THIS EMAIL ADDRESS TO AVOID IMMEDIATE CLOSURE

We have recently confirmed that different computers have logged onto your Hotmail and Msn account and multiple password errors have been entered. We are hereby suspending your account; as it has been used for fraudulent purposes.. Now we need you to reconfirm your account information to us. Click your reply tab, fill in the columns below and send it back to us or your email account will be suspended permanently.

Full Name: .........................................
User Name :...................................
Password: ...................................
Reconfirm Password :...................
Date of Birth ................................
Country or Territory......................

Here are some ways to help you manage your account after you reconfirm your account.
Create an archive - Set up a folder on your PC’s hard drive where you can save large attachments. Then just delete them from your inbox. You’ll still have them and your in-box will be that much smaller.
Make your filters work for you- Did you know you can set up your Hot mail and Msn account to immediately delete junk e-mail? Go to Options, and click Filters and reporting. Under the “Delete junk e-mail” section, select Immediately to delete junk e-mail right away. Once you’re finished, click Save and you’re done.
Delete a bunch of mail at once- Go to your Junk and Deleted folders, and clear them out by clicking the “Empty” button in the action bar.
Sincerely,
The Windows Live Hotmail Team.

Very close though..... so sick and tired of spammers and hijackers and whatever there is. My other affiliate email address I had. Gets spammed by those spam emails from nigeria..... no matter what I do block them and repport. They just keep coming through into my spam filter. I know that is fine. But really problem when still have to check for regular emails there as well.
Was gonna ask some questions but don't wanna derail this thread anymore sorry guys. Gone from password to spam sorry :)
