In process of making website on markets where connection strength is relatively weak (3G or lower). Would greatly appreciate tips on how to not sacrifice "modern" google requirements for simpler website access for actual users

Perhaps treat it like it was still 2012 - so smaller and less frequent images and use sprites where possible.

Ditch bloated themes and go as simple as possible. Tbh you may want to make a custom minimal theme if you're doing it in a CMS like wordpress. Custom lightweight php site would be good here if you're able.

Anything lower than 3G not sure they'd even be able to play at casinos these days.

And, not entirely sure 3G would either. 3G Network here in AU officially shuts down in June 2024.

Also, as an after thought. Unless these visitors are right out in the boonies and their internet connection is woeful, anyone else using, frankly, out-dated tech, I can't see them having disposable income to gamble with.
