Just wondering, is it allowed to use the name of a slot game in your domain name? Something like starburstslots com?

Thanks!

Don't quote me on this, but I think you can't as it's a Tm game. maybe if you changed it a little bit, let's say starburstvideoslots that would be ok... I think. ask your affiliate manager.

Find a domain name that doesn't use the actual name of a video slot. You might not have any problems
with using it in the domain, but do you really want to buy a domain, create a web site, and invest countless
hours building it into an authority site.. when their is a risk that you could lose the domain or have legal issues.

There are quite a few of these sites that use games titles online already and they seem to have been there for a long time. Its probably a bit hit and miss but if they own the copyright (which they surely would) then they can have ot pulled if they want

I've had these in the past and they have been removed by the hosting company after they were contacted by the copyright or trademark owner. I did just redirect them and kept the domains, they just got the site removed.

Probably not worth the risk, and something i wouldn't do again.

I don't think it could be used, as it sounds like a TM issue.

You'd be doing better with buying a EMD on a .online or .net extension. Like videoslots.online etc. and create for each game the corresponding page. If that is what you're after.

You can use domains with misspelt slot name - starburztslots com as an example. I don't think they could take your domain, except it have "StarBurst" in name.

by doing a website solely based on one particular slot are you not really limiting yourself?
I guess there will be some organic searches, but over time searches will be less and less, no?
what is the purpose of doing a domain name based on a slot?

I think "videoslots" is a pretty generic phrase and I cannot imgaine you would have any issue by using that as your domain name as long as you don't advertise videoslots dot com casino.

I never understood these domains, the risks so clearly outweigh the gains. Haven't delved too deeply into IP law, but I'd assume you might be looking at not only getting the site shut, but also having to pay for TM infringement / go to court (not likely in this industry). Now that game providers are also in the affiliate business, its even more risky as they could argue you're stealing their business.
