Anyone notice fewer signups convert to real players? I use mainly 1 program and have been doing great... about 1 depositor per 9 signups. Now i am at almost a 100 and 0 depositors.

I reach out to the program and ask if they are having payment processing issues or something? They say no, but obviously they would not say even if they had.

I target US so the reason i suspect payment processing.

-- > So, do you guys see a drop?
---> What is your best program for US player targetting?

Thanks

If you were getting 1 depositor for every 9 sign-ups on a consistent basis and now you are getting 100 sign-ups
and zero depositors, then it could be payment processing or it could even be a change in their casino promotions.
If they recently began offering a free bonus, then that would definitely lower the sign-up to depositor ratio.

No deposit bonus offers are an NDP killer.

If the player has a cr#p experience (slots are cold), it's highly unlikely they'll risk their own funds. Though generally, those seeking No Deposit offers, usually don't deposit - they're freebie whores.

I recall a new Microgaming casino opening in circa 2001, by the name of GoodFellows. They thought it was a great idea to give a US$50 no deposit bonus. Of course every bonus-whore from here to the black stump jumped on that freebie. With no withdrawal cap, and maybe a 10x wagering (common wagering figure back then, sometimes even less), they were doomed from the get go.

In a very short period of time, they were up $hit creek.
Microgaming terminated their operator license sometime in June 2002.

As it always happened back then, Microgaming stepped in, and with the aid of PwC (Price Waterhouse Coopers - South Africa), everyone owed winnings, were paid out.

NB - those were the days... if you were an affiliate back then, it was a license to practically print your own money. :D

For me Revenue Network and Legend converting the best.

If your one program is RN - see that they changed promotions recently on some of their brands.

And yes, if processing issues then almost no one will tell you. I do wish to mark an exception - in the past when Extreme had issues Mikey was straightforward and said that when i asked. Highly appreciated! I wish all AM's would follow.

For me if someone cares to notify me of some temporary issues is a sign of true partnership. He actually cares about my side of the story and my business and I always bring them back up when the issue solved. (and on the other hand if it's not - eventually I just take them down and that's pretty much it).

I understand folks want to find a casino(s) that perform well. We don't want to waste space, promoting venues, that don't convert. However, let me throw in some free advice.

Affiliate-A might do really well with Casino-Z, on their site.

BUT... Affiliate-B might not be able to get much, if any traction at Casino-Z, on their site.

The best solution to find which casino works for YOUR site(s) is to run A/B testing.

Otherwise what you'll likely be doing is playing the guessing/hope game.

Agree, it really depends a LOT on the traffic sources and the type of traffic in general. In the past months things haven't been bad, but in August there was a decrease. Best is to test, trial and error. Mainstreet is great in general though, recommend!
