Hey everyone,

I'm going to be launching a new site and, instead of worrying about a 'casino' in particular (as far as conversions are concerned) - I'm curious about Software developer?

What platform converts best for you?

* Microgaming
* Rival
* Net Ent
* BetSoft
* BetOnSoft

There are so many out there now... I'm just looking for a place to start. I'll be entering games into my new backend database shortly and would love to know where I should concentrate my efforts. I really like the BetSoft 3D games, personally, but like some of the others like Genesis as well.

Any thoughts? I would put a poll, but there are hundreds of developers out there :)

Stick a poll up

As per the bottom of my post.. I would stick a poll up, but there are hundreds of game developers. That kind of poll is useless and wouldn't fit in vBulletin anyway.

I push MG & NetEnt more than others so it's logical that they convert better for me

Good point, I'm sure a great deal of it really just depends on who you push the most. For the most part anyway, I really did try to push some Rival brands for a while and I couldn't get anything out of them.

For me it's all about Net ent - every new slot premiere makes a buzz on my discussion board and is celebrated like a New Year's Day ;)

I know the ? is by developer but I push programs that take visitors based on the majority of my traffic. that being usa and canada.
Its a numbers game all the way down the line. I don't earn great, by great I mean consistent monthy earnings with my uk facing programs because the number of eligible (by eligible I mean rmp's) visitors is simply not large enough, nothing else.

I've seen posts where there are many hundreds if not thousands of clicks but few joins and the small affiliate is somewhat perplexed, but the # of clicks can be misleading as you need to know the % of those clicks that were from an eligible country, as general rule, a ball park figure, you can use the % of your overall traffic from a given country as part of the formula.

So for example, if you get 5,000 clicks from a uk facing program and 10% of your overall traffic is from the uk then only 500 of those clicks should be considered when evaluating conversions.

That's how I do it anyway.

I understand all that, slotplayer, and it's very useful knowledge to be honest... I am just trying to concentrate on getting slots INTO the database :) So - if I start off with WMS slots and those slots convert like crap for most people, then I am on the wrong track. I'll get all slots in eventually, but I need to start off with the hottest converters. Know what I mean?

It's all relative, I know, but it helps to begin in the right place.
