Cautionary note about 10bet and their associated brands

This is the email I've got from Ihre today:

The decision to send you this email has not been taken lightly, and we hope you respect us for the information we feel is extremely important to present to you.

We would like to inform you that we no longer represent nor recommend any of the brands from Comfortlink NV, ie 10Bet, RealDealBet, BetRally. We have been working with them for some time now, but in November they decided to change the terms of our contract and cancel all payments to us without warning. As partners of ours, you should be aware of how we work as a broker.

We recommend our clients (operators) to you, our affiliate partner, in good faith that our operators will deliver as promised on their contracts to not only us, but you as affiliates and clients of theirs. Comfortlink NV whose brands are 10Bet, RealDealBet, BetRally is one such client. Comfortlink NV have been a client of ours for the last 12 months and in return we were paid a pre agreed commission plan for the first 6 months for each and every sub affiliate who came on board via Ihre Consulting, and a set fixed fee for the latter 6 months which covered new deals brought on during this 6 month period.

In November 2015 Comfortlink NV decided to amend the payment terms and therefore breach the contract we had in place, without pre-written warning. Their new approach on how the deal will be structured, was that no matter how many affiliates we have sent to their program, nor how many website's each of those affiliates have and use to promote Comfortlink's brands, Ihre Consulting would only be paid commission on ONE website per affiliate, regardless if the affiliate had 10-15 website's sending traffic. That is like saying if you had many traffic sources or sites, you would only be paid for the first traffic source or website, even AFTER a deal had been agreed for all of your traffic.

Since then, we have been informed that no payments will be made to Ihre Consulting for the lifetime commission deal we had in place with Comfortlink NV. Furthermore, the new signed contract which states payments must be made for 60 months prior to termination, has also been terminated with immediate effect.

Despite many email exchanges and trying to resolve this amicably, with written email exchanges of proof of our initial deal for the first 6 months and a written contract regarding remuneration for the latter 6 months, they fail to provide us with any payments, reports and will not pay us any earnings due to our company since November 2015. We feel the time is right to inform you of our position, and will leave it to you to draw your own conclusions and decide if there are action plans you need to take for yourself.

We would never ever intentionally represent an operator we believe to be rouge, nor one which would cause harm to an affiliate deal and business, and in the 6 years of Ihre Consulting's history and 140 operators we work with, this is the only time this has happened to us. We feel this is only right that we update you on the situation for you to make your own judgement on how this may affect any future business decisions.

For those of you who we have referred to 10Bet we will be in touch separately, however if you do have any questions or concerns, please do let us know.

I got the mail too, and replied basically saying: Yep - welcome to the REAL WORLD of what it's like to be an affiliate - getting screwed-over by operators who don't give a flying rats a**!

I've lost count of the times I've been shafted in the last 6 years.
All I can say is they've been BLOODY LUCKY if this is their first...!

But over the last 9 years I have been working in the industry I can only agree with KasinoKing. It will definetly happen again......

this is the 10Bet Settlement latter from IHRE:

As those of you who have been working with Ihre Consulting for some time will know, back in 2015 we were contracted to supply Affiliate Management services to 10Bet and its associated brands. Unfortunately, in November 2015 our two companies parted ways. 10Bet’s termination of the contract was sudden and led to protracted discussions concerning outstanding commission and cancellation payments. After several months of negotiations, from November 2015 until the end of January 2016, no resolution had been agreed to, and we took the decision to email all our partners about the matter and to speak publicly about the termination.

However, we are now very happy to inform you that following further constructive dialogue, 10Bet and Ihre Consulting have reached an understanding concerning a mutually acceptable financial settlement. We believe this is a positive step, not only for Ihre Consulting and 10Bet, but also for the industry at large, demonstrating that resolving contractual disputes to the satisfaction of all parties is entirely achievable.

We would like to thank 10Bet’s representatives for their part in bringing this matter to a successful conclusion and would advise any Affiliate or other third party in a similar situation to take the necessary measures to ensure an amicable outcome.


Ihre Consulting will, of course, continue to work to ensure productive relationships between operators and affiliates across the industry, and to resolve any future disputes to the benefit of all parties, as well as the industry in general.
