This question is always popping up now. I always seem to ignore it as i don't really get involved in Forum chat even though they are helpful.

Here is my verdict..

Yes! Absolutely! In the UK some of the biggest UK affiliate marketing websites have actually been online less than 2 years. Many people seem to always jump back to things like.. Oh but bet 365 closed my account and then the others followed suit etc and now its taken my income.. This is where Affiliates need to start been ballsy and charging for traffic! I will never ever again in my life give a Brand free traffic. They must pay the tenancy and then and only then will we work on rev share or CPA or Hybrid after.

Also, I trust some of the smallest brands in the business 1000x more than Bet 365, SkyBet and Betfred. One of the funniest things is that the brands with the biggest Stands at the conferences, Are the ones that Fu*k everyone over.

Never ever keep all your eggs in one basket and try to advertise around 30 brands. Find a nice small agile company and make a deal with them where as you cant be screwed.

There is no such thing as ''can it still be done'' The industry is changing NOT stopping. As one door closes, Another one opens.

Affiliates are the back bone of the casino industry. Just keep an eye on things and move with the times. If your a newby wanting to get started, There are domains out there which are still available which are GOLD.

Again, Of course it can still be done.. That will never change. The industry is actually in need of more mobile compatible sites. I can see sites out there now which have still need optimised for mobile and are wondering why they are going down like a led balloon.

Good luck!

I remember putting in 18 hour days back in 2007. There was soooo much to do, and that was back when SEO was relatively easy.

Now it's like a dark tunnel where you don't see light for YEARS....

I guess to get the engaging visitors for your casino website, Google or organic traffic shouldn't be your main concern. you should consider traffic from social media like reddit, stumble upon, tumblr, facebook, twitter etc. That way you can get around thousands of visitors on a single day

Instead of buying some casino pbns or something like that, hire a decent social media expert. Make some viral content and go viral. If your ad is engaging on social media people would quickly rush in. SEO is too mainstream these days. It's gone to be honest. Rely on social media

Understand what you are saying, Also with the social media, But no.

SEO is far from gone. And as for those buying casino PBNs, That could be why your getting no where.
