Betsoft Gaming Supsended License ?

Just got an email from MrGreen

"The Alderney Gambling Control Commission has issued online gaming operator Betsoft a suspension notice requiring it to cease operations immediately. The Commissioners stated that until the suspension notice is cancelled or the AGCC have reached a determination at the conclusion of the hearing, the company must cease to offer gambling-specific software."

WTF is wrong with these company's ? Well gee thanks Betsoft for all the extra work I now have to do!.. I REEEEAALLY appreciate it.

Yep, been known a few days now.. wonder why they've been suspended? No doubt something dodgy going on for this to happen. That said, in the casino industry when you're dealing with people based in all sorts of dodgy world locations where fraud is rife, it's not entirely surprising. Will be interesting to see the detail that comes out of this.

On a more serious note: I was quite surprised when I heard this for the first time and I'm waiting for any additional info as to what really happened.

You might be kidding but the answer from the executive director of the AGCC is very vague - "I have sufficient grounds to believe that Digitus is no longer suitable to hold a certificate and therefore to provide services to our Category 1 licensees under their certificate."

Nothing surprise me anymore nor how low this industry will stoop. Maybe getting rid of the competition isn't too far from the truth, hey!
