So

Unibet buys Bet24 for 13 Million Euros+, Then they send an email to all the players that now their accounts will be moved to Unibet...

First of all its a moron move, they will have a massive dropoff of players. Someone is not using their braincells for the intendended purpose, players will not be moved like livestock between two competing brands like that. Looks good in a spreadsheet, more difficult in the real world.

Thats not my gripe though, it turns out that we have sent them (Bet24) over 100 depositors this year, last month we had our first decent month with them
(5K Euro to us), we were looking forward to a good and fruitful relationship.

Yesterday we received an email that all customer accounts will cease to exist on may 14. They do not know what will happen to our affiliate contract. No question about tagging to our unibet affiliate account, not even asking if we have one...

Knowing previous behaviour from Unibet, i'm pretty sure (98% Certain) that we are f#"c?/d.

In a conservetive estimate, our small player group would have earned us something between 20-50,000 Euros in the next 18 months. Seems like we are getting robbed, just a little.

So, what are we gonna do about it. Basically just bitch and moan, make sure that all of our staff are bitching and moaning. Cuss them at conferences, and otherwise just go on our way and be extremely happy about deciding to spread our traffic on as many programs as possible.

Otherwise,

Have a fantastic weekend.

Problems as i see it:
What if the player has an account at Bet24.com via affiliate A and an account at Unibet.com via affiliate B. Thats inpossible to migrate so bouth affiliates earn revenues of that player so they will / cant do anything els but to drop this player from bouth affiliates to a default player -Right?

There will be no Bet24.com no longer -Right? So there will not be any more revenues to make (no more money to earn) on the old players. They simple cant add our players to unibetpartners, like they did with mariacasino, since there is no Bet24 brand anymore.

We make a huge lost of this deal!
So far we have 1400 Reg, 350 Ndc and comissions last year some 5 figures amount and loosing this all really hurts!Thers a peak for casinoaffiliates 2014 with a normal growth we easy loose almost a 6 figure amount from the period 2012-2014 only...

At this point i really am not concerned with their point of view. They can easily assign a residual value to the affiliates and pay us out a lump sum per player depending on origin/signupdate or similar.

This would show us that they care just a little about their partners. And motivate us to work with the group in the future.

If they just throw paragraphs from the contract at us and stiff us, we can live with it. But our entire(and growing) organization will be trained to cuss them at every opportunity.

Yes, they can EASILY look at the affiliate program and player database... there are already queries that allow them to see tagged players vs. affiliate. The migration plan *should* involve auto-creating an account for all affiliates and moving them to Unibet.

However - since Unibet is considered ROGUE here... I don't think that will happen.

But the issue is if a player is tracked to bouth unibet and bet24 but from different affiliates, how cud they ever calculate the revenues that the affiliates earn of that very same player when hes moved into unibet?

That is a point, but a rather minor one. As part of the due diligence process they must have done a survey of duplicate accounts, if they had too much overlap, the deal would have been even more pointless than it already is. Why would they buy players they already have?

We are not looking for a perfect solution, we know that things sometimes take a different path than planned. We are simply looking to be treated as a proper partner, not scummy filth to be tossed by the wayside with a shrug.

This is Unibet we're talking about here. My prediction - given the term in their own affiliate program that allows them to drop affiliate tagging with dormant player accounts and the other that goes along the line of dropping tagging upon rebranding - is that they are not going to honour any affiliate contracts. Once the Bet 24 player base is moved over, affiliates with players at Bet 24 will receive zero further payment.

How retarded to screw the affiliates like this and in the past. And then to merge the sites, what is the point?

The company is doing really good to further rub it in the affiliate faces.

Im glad I found this information so Im not advertising this company.

"Hello,

We wish to inform you about what will happen to your affiliate agreement when all Bet24 player has shifted to the Unibet platform.

What will happen with my affiliate account at Bet24?
Affiliate tracking for Bet24 players will not proceed for Unibet's affiliate program. But if you have referred players to Unibet who also have accounts on Bet24, then these accounts will be merged and the player will continue to be tracked to your affiliate account at Unibet.

Your affiliate account at Bet24 will be closed on May 24th (player moves one or two days before) and all outstanding payments to be paid later than 29 st of May.

Please note that you are responsible for having the correct payment information shown on your affiliate account no later than 24 st of May. If you have not updated your account with the correct information, we will not be able to perform the last payment and the balance is thereby lost.

What if I do not have an affiliate account at Unibet?
If you do not already have an account at Unibet, please register one here.

If you have additional questions regarding your contract with Bet24, please contact: support@nbaffiliates.com.

For questions regarding your new or existing affiliate account at Unibet, please contact affiliates@unibet.com.

We really regret how this affects you. At Bet24 we would like to thank you for a very good working relationship over the years we worked together and we wish to in the future.

Yours sincerely,
NB Affiliates Team"

Got the same email today.

We are actually so pissed off that we may throw some money after some lawyers to raise hell. If nothing else it will get media mention in Sweden and make sure that no one else signs up to promote these people on anything but prepay CPA deals.

If they have a stand in Dublin i may hire some locals to hang around their stand and be smelly and loud.

Seeking Irish drunk freelancers for easy assignment during working hours...

Anyway, probably better to focus on the positive things in our lives.

Cheers
