Avoid working with Fortu Partners!

We agreed on a test run via paid ads on commission. After spending X EUR of our own budget to send them traffic, they refused to pay the October-November commission because they weren’t “happy” with the traffic.

We even stopped the test early ourselves (out of respect) so they could evaluate the traffic and pay what was owed before we continued. Instead, they wanted to keep going in December with a cap of 30-40 FTDs while still not paying the previous earnings - we obviously refused.

You pay what you owe, then you decide if you want to continue or stop the collaboration in advance. Don’t make people risk their own ad spend and then try to walk away from the bill.

Hello AGD Community,
Thanks for raising this concern. We’ve reviewed the situation regarding the affiliate complaint about Fortu Partners and wanted to provide a balanced update for the community.
Fortu Partners stated that while they received the traffic, the players had very low deposit amounts and have shown no activity in over a month. They added that this kind of behavior is unusual for PPC traffic and flagged the accounts for further review due to suspicious activity.
Fortu clarified that they have not refused payment but need more time to complete their checks. They also noted that 5 FTDs alone is a small sample to judge the campaign’s quality and would prefer to see more volume before drawing firm conclusions. They emphasized that they are committed to paying for legitimate and high-quality traffic, as per industry standards.
We encourage both sides to stay in contact and keep the community updated on any progress. Thanks to all for maintaining a constructive and transparent environment.

Thanks for the update, but there’s a critical point that needs to be clarified.

Fortu didn’t merely ask for more time to review. They tied a potential payout to higher deposit values and future player behavior, while dismissing the existing 5 FTDs as “too small a sample” and suggesting more volume be sent first. In effect, this means: send more traffic, spend more budget, and maybe then we’ll decide whether to pay what’s already owed. That is not a fair or acceptable position.

In a standard affiliate agreement, payment is tied to the agreed conversion event. If the deal is FTD-based, then an FTD is an FTD. Any additional requirements — minimum deposits, wagering thresholds, KYC, fraud rules — must be clearly defined upfront, not introduced after conversions occur.

Low deposit values or lack of repeat activity are not valid reasons to withhold earned commissions unless explicitly stated in the agreement with a baseline. Affiliates deliver users; retention and monetization are the operator’s responsibility.

You pay what you owe. If you’re unhappy with the quality, you’re free to stop the collaboration or change the terms going forward. Holding commissions hostage while asking for more traffic is not industry standard — it’s a dangerous precedent.
