This is partially a signup thread in case anyone wants to sign up under me, but also curious on this...

The affiliate program is pretty basic and there aren't a whole lot of great creatives to find. It took them about 2 weeks to finally get me set up, but I am guessing they prefer the 'referral' method to refer players (meaning you refer your friends and get credit that way).

For me.. I play FanDuel for Fantasy NFL. It's pretty fun, IMO, and if you know what you are doing.. you can do ok. However - if you don't do any researcch and just shoot from the hip , you probably will lose. It's essentially a bunch of people who love sports betting on who they think the best players will be each week.

Example: This week I chose my NFL team and bet in a $100 weekly (Sunday/Monday-Only) contest with 220 other people. With 220 people, the prize pool was: 1st Place - $4,000, 2nd - $3,000, 3rd - $2,000, 4th - $1,600, 5th - $1,200, 6th - $800, 7th/8th - $600, 9th-12th - $500, 13th-18th - $400, 19th-24th - $300.

I am on track to hit $800 payout.. not too bad. But that depends upon other people's players. $500 looks to be the lowest I will get based upon other people's 'teams'.

The contests are kinda nice because you don't have to take 1st place to get a win. Most of them have multiple prizes (about 10% of the top get prize money)

Anyway.... anyone promoting this type of thing yet? If so... how are you faring?

Also... if anyone wants to play in these types of contests - I would sure appreciate the signup. For me.. it's kind of a lot of fun :) But I love NFL, so that helps!

Wow - nobody is promoting this type of thing? I'm surprised as we have some very sports-heavy affiliates out there!

I guess i am on my own with this one... Just was hoping to have some advice on if it is worth our time to invest in this type of thing. It's fairly new and gaining popularity quick due to advertisements (constantly) on Sirius/XM radio.
