I hope some affiliate managers come in here to explain exactly how US affiliates will be paid now? I almost expected the AGD spider to find all sorts of updates to terms regarding payments, but that hasn't happened.

So - QT is gone... what next? Wire, Check (Cheque), ??

Please help us understand how YOU (affiliate program) will pay us and you could be rewarded with a bit more exposure.

Did you notice the * Fee's apply. I wonder how bad the casinos are going to hit us with these fees in order to withdraw our money?

I guess we'll find out who wants to take advantage of us the most now, won't we?

So cynical, but I guess in the current climate, you're well within your rights to be.

I'm in the UK and I get paid via wire transfer from a lot of programs and, guess what, fees apply to those transactions too.

The Affiliate Edge check fee is $50, but there appears to be no fee to receive commissions via ACH.

$50 is a bit steep, IMO. What does that pay for, exactly?

I was told by Brightshare if we didn't have an overseas bank acct then we wouldn't get paid. Nothing about we're checking into. IMO they're as rogue as rogue can get.

I've been paying $50 for checks by courier from Intertops for a long while now. I am very happy to pay the $50. They have a low minimum of only $200. They email me my tracking number the moment they process my payment, almost always within 24 hours of my request. The check is at my front door within 3 business days of my request. It's worth $50 for the speed, tracking number provided, low minimum, and peace of mind from their consistency.

If Affiliate Edge offers the same benefits, then I will be happy to pay the $50 fee.

There is just no way I will pay any program $50 to pay me, I don't care if its next day service.

Programs that charge fees that high just won't be on my sites or they will pay the fees.

Some affiliates make the $200 and are willing to pay 25% to get it? That just doesn't fit into my plan to feed the family.

$50 to send me a check - even Next Day Air - is just plain greedy & I won't be promoting any programs that charge that much. As for ACH - that's a FREE system, so there should be no charges for that, and Wire Transfers should be reasonable.

I agree, there is no reason to pay that much, it doesn't cost them that much to cut and send the check.

For smaller affiliates like me, where some payments are only the minimum of $50 or $200 whatever the case is, $50 is way too much to pay. I would have to wait til I hit over $500 in that program to make it worthwhile and with some programs that would take a few months or more.

Paying $50 to receive $200 doesn't make financial sense, IMO. If I had no other choice, I would wait until I had accrued at least $1,000, and even then, I would probably wait until I had $2,000 before I agreed to fork over $50 to receive MY earnings.

That is complete bullshit if true.

It is completely legitimate and above-board for a U.S. citizen to promote Brightshare's casinos, since they don't accept U.S. players.

There is no reason why they can't send a wire to a U.S. citizen, to a U.S. bank account. All they need to do is set up a new account SPECIFICALLY for affiliate payments -- i.e. don't mix player and affiliate payments -- f*cking idiotic thing to do in the first place, if you ask me, but what do I know -- and pay affiliates from the "affiliate payments" account.

Make sure the account name doesn't mention casinos or gambling, and you'll be good to go. Simple.

They have the resources to do this, and if they are serious about staying in the business long-term, like Virgin Games and the like, then they really need to get this resolved.

I have the email stating this. I'm hoping someone spoke "out of turn" here. If not, and they don't pay US affiliates to the rogue pit as far as I'm concerned.

If this is true, they will be removed as a sponsor with immediate effect. I have sent an email off to Liyu to verify.

Oh, and the main reason I say this is simple.... If they WANTED to, they could pay via other methods. Spiral Solutions comes to mind.... so do several other 'sister' companies.

Exactly -- if they wanted to, they could pay -- they just don't want to, that's all. Yet they will happily spend thousands to fly around the world every other month for conferences.

    Priorities...

Why is it a problem for them to send a wire or a check to someone in the U.S.? There is literally NOTHING illegal or shady about a U.S. citizen doing marketing for their casinos, which don't accept U.S. players. ???

I thought about that and problem with it is, what if 4 months into it and you have 899 accumulated, that you get a winner instead of a loser that next month, it could set you all the way back quite easily. Then you start the process over again.

    No thanks.

$50 is extreme but I'll bend over since its better than nothing and Edge has a decent player reputation which is a concern to which places i promote as much as this sort of over charging for checks.

Guys just a side thought, and it probably is way out of the ball park because they aren't charging for ACH, but is there any way that because of the processors they are using they are being charged a $50 fee to send the check? I know our processors are charging us to send checks now (to all countries btw) so I don't think it's out of the question... being in the US too, higher risk may call for higher fees..

As a side note, I'm not posting publicly how we are paying you guys, and I've said this before, but if you need an alternate method to QT and you are working with us, you will need to email me directly.

    Cheers
