Since many of us use an eWallet, what is your method of transfer and how might affiliate programs help you?

I'll give an example:

I get paid by several programs at the beginning of the month (Day 1). Other programs I get paid anywhere from the 7th - 20th. What this means to my bank account is that I either make 2 transfers (costing $30 each time) or I wait until the end of the month to make my transfer.

It depends upon the month whether I need to transfer early or late, but often I have to make 2 transfers.

For me - I would love more programs to pay earlier in the month (within the first 7 days) so that I could bulk transfer my earnings and only be charged 1 fee :)

Is it time to select programs that pay in the first days of the month? Well, would love to say yes - but then I would be stuck not having control over which casinos I promote.

What is your monthly routine and how could it be changed for the better?

We use two methods-ewallet and wire and wait until everything is in before requesting the transfer unless there is a delay from a program. In that case we generally will carry that payment over to the next month if its going to be a lengthy delay.

It would be great if everyone paid the first ten days of the month. We have responsibilities, just like programs do, but some of them seem not to recognize that or really don't care.

I have just been debating this issue myself. One of my bigger earners is sent bankwire, but i have another somewhat decent earner that fluxuates a bit in earnings that i get QTand usually paid 1st 7 days, then i have another where i have made a smaller amount, and it would make alot more since to make one withdrawal , but as you say, sometimes money is needed to be on the way alot sooner than waiting for both to hit and then withdrawl. The smaller amount one usually pays by the 10th business day, which means it can usually be anywhere from the 13th-16th. It's always the latest it can be with this program and sometimes a day or 2 late making it the 17th or 18th.

All i can say this month, is at least the early payment hasn't been processed yet, so these 2 will probably be alot closer in time sent so will be worth waiting a couple days to make the withdrawal.

But yes, it would be great if all would pay within a day or 2 of each other, making it a bit easier on us affiliates.

Hi Andy (all),

I wont go into how many times I've had this discussion with aff managers

I promote 1 Playtech (bet365) and Affiliate Wide properties. All others are MGS. AW pay's the 1'st no matter what whilst Reward Affiliates pay on or around the 5'th. 32Red pay no later than the 7'th.

However Brighshare, FL and Playshare all seem to be paying much later, lately. Which of course I find odd - really no reason when compared to RA who run 20 MGS casinos and can pay early month, every month without fail or excuse.

I thought it maybe a case of waiting as long as possible just in case of chargebacks. But I personally don't get many. Of course I've speculated they are just sitting on our affiliate payments to earn some extra interest.

Who knows ??? ask stuff like that and you never do get a proper answer.

What annoys me the most and makes life hard is not knowing when payments will turn up with Brighshare; Playshare and FL. At times it can be the difference of a 10 days.

Try running a business like that, it's a pain in ass. Of course when I joined FL for instance the payment date was set to (you'll be paid by the 10'th of each month)...Of course that was changed to the 15'th then to the 20'th. Go figure.

We have responsibilities, just like programs do, but some of them seem not to recognize that or really don't care.

I've got to the point of asking the aff manager "do you have monthly responsibilities likes bills a mortgage and what not?"...They answer yes.

I then ask do you get paid on the same day every month or when ever you get paid...They say, yes.

Well I got responsibilities too!

Not much of a come back after throwing that fact in - normally a quick reply "it's outa my hands" and a change of topic.

Cheers

:)

Dave
