Hi

does anyone get this .. i never saw this rule before

i just get this email

Dear Partner,

We are writing to notify you that your account has been inactive for the past 6 months (has not generated a minimum level of activity / new depositing players).

Under rule 7.9 of our terms and conditions the Company reserves the right to set limits for a minimum level of activity on Affiliate’s accounts and to terminate any agreement not reaching the limit.

Consequently our Affiliate Agreement is now being terminated. Your October and remaining unpaid commission will be paid out early November and your account will be permanently shut down on November 1st, 2013. You will not be eligible to earn or receive commissions after the effective termination date.

im just getting 100-300 every month with that account .. thats a bit odd that now all rooms coming to the point to close aff accounts if you are not actively promotiong them .

Hi

Its just the nature of the beast unfortunately. Competition is high, margins are low. Since you made the agreement with them they have changed senior management 5 times, affiliate management more often. Bought a pile of companies and integrated them. They ONLY care about the bottom line, the only use they have for you is the traffic you bring tomorrow.

We see this as the trend across the board, the idea of lifetime income is nothing more than a cozy concept from the past. If they don't shave you, they will lower your rev share, or just kill the account.

Jesus I am cheerful today.

Have a fabulous day:)

Classic AL. This is what they do. I'll move them from Predatory to Rogue... they deserve it.

I got the same email today. No big deal. They never converted for me anyway. I'll remove them soon enough. It doesn't cost them anything to keep an affiliate account open. It's not like they're losing money by having inactive (according to their definition) affiliate accounts. I think they are hoping that someone will forget to delete their links or at least some of their links, and they'll get free traffic and players, and not have to pay the affiliate because the affiliate account is closed. Do links from closed affiliate accounts still direct to their casinos? Oh yeah, and they also get to pocket whatever commissions that are due to the affiliate from the old players.

You would think that some of these affiliate programs would learn over the years,
that when you try to save money by closing affiliate accounts on revenue share,
that word spreads and you end up losing more affiliate revenue because of it.
