Hello, I was wondering if there are any effective measures one can take to recover Commisions not paid by the brand. If there are any security measures one can take (Legal or otherwise) at the start of the partnership.

Unless you have very deep pockets (operative word: DEEP), you chances of a legal challenge are slim at best. FYI... Programs will enforce their T&C's on affiliates and expect these 'partners' to tow the line. However, flip the coin and it's an entirely different matter. What's deducted from GGR, monthly payment date, agreements which, according to programs are set in stone, when it comes to them, the rules don't apply.

EG - According to KYC law, AML, and probably even SoW, an affiliate operating as a bona fide company entity, if said company requests the aforementioned ID docs, the affiliate program et al should supply them. After all they expect ALL affiliates to supply these to them. Try getting any program to send these to you. Put simply, I've never heard of any program supplying these requested docs, even though (by my understanding) they are obligated to do so by law.

There was an affiliate who took a program to court a few years back. It seemed like he had a rock solid case. Unfortunately though, the way in which the T&C's were worded, meant, he agreed to mediation if things went South. Well the poor guy's goose got cooked, and instead of a ruling in his favour, the Magistrate ruled for the affiliate program, and the affiliate had to cough up 10,000GBP to the program for legal fees.

You can imagine the grief that caused, given the program had stolen his commissions.

The best advice I can give is... Before you signup to any program, spend a few hours on Google, conducting both a player and affiliate check, to see if both the program and the sportsbook/casino are trustworthy, and have longevity.

Every program is a risk to partner with, because they hold ALL THE ACES.

But you can, to some degree, lessen the risk by doing your homework, 1'st.

Only have to take a look around here to see how many programs are shafting affiliates on a weekly/monthly basis.

What can you do about it... Aside from speak up on forums, and blacklist them. Not much else. Better to just move on and forget about it. You wont win this game, mate!

before as you signup to any application, really check information at Google
undertaking both a player and affiliate check, to look if both this system and the sportsbook/on line casino are trustworthy, and have sturdiness.
