People actually go through up 7 pages and do spend on average 8 minutes, and most sites that average is 2-3 minutes. A lot of people have that thought but, users interact with the ads. Add me on my skype ( christrafficjunky) i can explain more and show you some examples of things that worked.

I don't think that you are going to see good conversions from adult traffic. Adult sites have huge volumes of traffic
but it doesn't convert well. The reason is simple.. we all know what the end goal is of the visitors to that site.
I don't see any ads for casinos on their site. This time.. I saw an ad with two aliens having out of this world sex.

Ofc, adult traffic is different and may be difficult, but far from worthless.
Some operators don't accept adult traffic, other buying tons of them directly.
The point is, media buying isn't an "oh, let's spend 200 and see whats happens, 5 min task".
You need knowledge, means you need the right setup/tracking, you need the money to buy data (traffic), you need the right landers/GFX, a good operator who can provide postbacks, etc ...
All the rest is a try and error, to find the right combination of everything (GEO, Offer, GFX).

I agree with eenzoo. Many big operators buy traffic on adult websites via banners and / or pop-under.
You may check similarweb.com and see the traffic sources. Here is the example, bet365.
As you see, exoClick, PopCash, PopAds - this is networks that sold adult traffic.

This is true, we tell many of advertisers the users on Pornhub are the same users on facebook, youtube, taboola( publishers) etc and you pay 10x for that user on that site compared to Pornhub. We also provide all of customers a dedicated account manager to walk them through it and more importantly give them the information they need to succeed.
