ACMA Initiated Civil Actions in Federal Court

Under claims that a trio of individuals provided Australians with access to unlicensed online poker services, ACMA announced that it has started civil actions in federal court. Currently, it is illegal to offer online poker to players in Australia under Section 15(2A) of the Interactive Gambling Act of 2001.
