    Hi Frank,

The 100% is calculated on Net Revenue yes. Therefore, it works like this:

First 3 months: 100% of Net Gaming Revenue

After 3 months, the following tiers will apply:

    up to £5,000.00, Earn 35 %

    Between £5,000.01 –>£15,000.00, Earn 40 %
    Between £15,000.01 –>£999,999.00, Earn 50 % Revenue

The above commission groups are subject to change at the discretion of the merchants. In case of any change, a prior notice would be given to the Members (affiliates).

The Net Gaming Revenue is calculated as below: Net Gaming Revenue: Cash bet – Cash won – jackpot contributions – bonus – processing fees – any royalties – ID checking fees – admin costs – operating costs – poc taxes/duties

Commission payments are made by the 25th of every month for previous month’s commission. Please note that commission payments are subject to minimum payment threshold depending of the method of payment chosen by you. The minimum thresholds for commission payment are as below:

    • UK same day Bank Transfer: £100
    • Electronic transfer: £500
    • Paypal: £100
    • Neteller: £20
In case, the Member (affiliate) does not reach the minimum threshold as required by the method of payment chosen by the Member in any particular month, the commission amount will then be rolled over to the following month until the minimum threshold is reached. We do not carry over negative commissions for the following month(s).

    Regards,
    Jonathan

    Hi there,

I have looked at affiliates who are on the 100% commission and last month, it averaged out at 32%. This means affiliates earned 68% of Net Revenue.

So... it's not REALLY 100%, then...

My views on affiliates being hammered for operating/admin costs etc., for YOUR business... Put bluntly, it's a joke!

    Let look at this scenario...

Jack and Jill are business partners.
    • Jack has a 75% share in the business
    • Jill has a 25% share in the business
At the EOM the following out goings, and fees are deducted from Gross Earnings of the business.
    • Electricty
    • Phone
    • Banking Fees
    • Rent
    • Advertising
    • etc., etc.
    Here's the rub...
    • Jill pays 25% of these costs. Why? Because Jill holds a 25% share in the business.
    • Jack pays 75% of these costs. Why? Because Jack holds a 75% share in the business.
After all the charges are met, what's left is Net profit.
    • Jill receives 25% cut of Net Profit.
    • Jack receives 75% cut of Net Profit.
Reiterating, hitting affiliates up for YOUR business costs (etc., etc.,) at 100%, is BS...

I believe Frank wanted to know... the break down of each fee's cost EG, the % (or dollar amount per charge/fee):
    • Processing fees?
    • Royalities? (if any)
    • ID Checking Fees?
    • Admin costs?
    • Operating costs?
    • POC taxes/Duties (if and when applicable)?

    Hi AussieDave,

I understand your argument and thank you for your input.

We are using a true revenue share model with the intention that you receive a fair and accurate percentage of your player's revenue. I hope I can adequately explain the merits below.

In your example, it is made to seem like operators are deducting 100% of costs from the affiliate, but that's not accurate. About 32% is been deducted on average. Casinos would be running at a loss if they did not include these deductions. If we were operating without license and did not have to pay taxes, then this figure would be considerably less. Unfortunately, the costs associated with been 100% legitimate are considerably higher, meaning less revenue / profits for everyone.

We feel this system is fair in the sense that you get the lion's share of player profit after the deductions. And, where you benefit with us, is that we don't apply NCO which kind of balances things out over time when it comes to deductions.

In the industry, Affiliates have always had the largest slice of the pie. Cashouts are the next big cost, followed by taxes and software provider fees. Operators always receive the smallest percentage of every $ spent, with most operators making between 5 and 25% per month (depending on cashouts).

We can change from this model to models been used by some operators who are not billing you for deductions, however on these models affiliates get 5 - 25% and/or they enforce Quota systems and NCO. It's not attractive to affiliates and it means less revenue than programs offering say 50% to 100% commission and applying true the rev share model.

That said, as soon as Betreels begins generating sufficient volumes and profits, we will begin reducing the costs to affiliates. Our ultimate goal is to offer affiliates 30% to 40% with no deductions. The only way we can get there is with the help of the affiliate community which is why we are offering 100% now.

Apologies for the long-worded reply. I hope I have explained myself correctly.

    Have a great day!
    Jonathan

p.s. I believe Nektan use an average percentage amount to deduct all the costs as it is easier than reporting separately on each cost for each brand. I will check with management.

Ok so on your regular revshare plan (35%) affiliate can hope to make around 7-11% of gross profit... doesn't sound too tempting now right? you guys just add as many fees as you feel comfortable, I soon foresee these methods of dishonest promotion coming to an end, affiliates are getting tired of being taken for a ride with false ballooned figures, worded in a way that they think they are getting a great deal.

    Hi Frank,

I don't know of any licensed casino not doing these deductions. As before, if the casinos had to pay all the costs, the casinos would make no profit meaning there would be no casinos for you to generate profits from.

We are talking to our affiliate platform provider to implement cost sharing after the 1st 3 months are over. I.e. when moving to the 35 to 50 percent model, we carry 50% of the costs meaning more revenue for you.

As per my previous message above, our plan is to switch to 30 to 40 percent commissions without deductions. We just can't do it with our current volumes.

I can assure you that we are not taking anyone for a ride and we back this up by giving you 100% (+-68%) for your first 3 months. I am not sure anyone else out there is doing an offer like this? We want our program to be favourable with all affiliates and will do what we can to get there.

    Regards,
    Jonathan

I know plenty of casinos that split comms after admin fee's and/or POC tax if there is any, this whole.. ID Checking Royalty, Operating costs etc is ridiculous what about my operating costs? marketing fees, staff fees.. years of learning, experience and hard work? only worth 8 % to keep you guys in biz? there was a discussion about this on the GPWA forum which i started, it's about time we all worked together and put a list up on the sharks and claimed earnings vs real money earnings. after all that's what these forums are for.

Please stop quoting 100% I don't think anyone believes you or even agrees that it's a smashing deal right now

    Hi Frank.

GPWA - I think that is a great idea. There needs to be transparency to make it easier for affiliates to choose their partners.

For what it is worth, when other programs deduct admin fees, it usually includes these costs. They simply use a flat percentage amount which includes everything and it usually varies between 15 and 40%.

With us, affiliates are still getting about 68% commission for their first 3 months which is a very good deal in today's gaming arena. And, we do not have Quotas or NCO meaning that with time, our partners will recover these costs.

I realise we are not going to see eye-to-eye on this now, however we are looking at our program and processes to see how we can reduce the costs to our partners and thereby put more money in your pockets.

    Thanking you,
    Jonathan
