The Australian State of Victoria has introduced the Gambling Legislation Amendment Bill 2023 in response to findings from a Royal Commission. This bill aims to monitor and regulate gambling at Crown Melbourne, including mandatory pre-commitment systems and closure periods from 4 am to 10 am to address problem gambling and ensure compliance with responsible gaming measures.
