Similar to spring cleaning, it is the perfect time of year to get your websites cleaned up!!! Here are the things that I think EVERYONE should do with their websites over the next several weeks.

RAKE THE LEAVES PROGRAM

  • Gather a list of the casinos you promote over your website(s
    • Check for player issues carefully at several of the well known forums including CasinoMeister (tm).
    • Remove any casinos where player issues are rampant or at least one prominent issue remains unresolved (and very apparent that the player is in the right).
  • Gather a list of the affiliate programs you are partners with
    • Verify that those affiliate programs are treating their affiliates fairly and not changing terms by checking the FORUM homepage at AGD as well as the various other well known affiliate forums such as GPWA, CAP, GIA, GAP, and APCW.
    • Check that affiliate program's forum here at AGD, look in the sidebar, and make sure payments appear to be completed ON TIME.
TAKE THE LEAVES TO THE CURB!!

Any casinos or affiliate programs that have issues, throw to the curb. It's time we take out the trash this fall season and keep those 'Bad Casinos' and 'Bad Affiliate Programs' from making money. It all starts with us!

I will be doing this with my own websites over the next several weeks to get rid of poor performers as well as remove any and all disreputable operations. While I think my sites are fairly clean of bad places, it is always worth looking in case there is something on the far reaches of a website!!!

Excellent points, Andy.

Personally I like to include "under performers"- if a program does receive a decent number of clicks, and/or downloads, and I don't see results, they may end up in the trash or at least with minimal exposure.

Each wasted click is lost money, IMO.

Great points. We're trying to do that on regular basis.
And I am very frustrated because of strange trends especially with some softwares :(. We put down a lot of casinos.
