This is another issue with Rivals everyone it seems that each individual casino can raise and lower betting limits on the slots as they please! Say Johnny deposits $100 bonus free he can bet up to $20 bucks a spin on Scary Rich BUT if he deposits $100 on a 300% bonus match offer he can go into the casino to see his max bet amount is $1 a spin!! How can that player reach the play through? He can't! This is a rather funny trick and I as an affiliate don't like it!

These bet amounts are not spot on but just an example.

I decided to move to a more hip and relevant thread.

Let me say that I know Superior is NOT a Mickey Mouse operation and the owner is very very stable BUT this whole thing with the bet limits has me worried and mad as an affiliate! I will not change my thoughts on this and I know they willl do all they can to fix this they have been around for a long time and I realize they have thier hands tied on things with Rival itself but someone has to stand up and say knock the shit off the affiliates are suffering badly!

Hi Chris/Kev,

As we explained on GPWA regarding the affiliate involved with the Betting Limits issue:

"As you probably know, Rival-Gaming has previously used automatic bonus banning system and bet limit changes. This was still in place in Oct 2009, when ogpaper here played for the first time at Superior and won. We’ve stated before that we’re trying to get far away from this automatic system that affects players just because of winning. We thought that the back-end filters that do these were set to a minimum, so this can be done on a case-by-case basis, manually checked, rather than automatically done by the system.

Paul shouldn't have used the word technical. The bug was really 'us' not catching this and reversing it for this player on time. This issue has been fixed for this player permanently, I changed his betting limits back to normal (after two attempts, since I noticed the old filter was still catching him after I reset his limits to normal the first time).

CS and CS supervisors have no authority in game bet changes and they simply presumed the promotion was causing the bet limit change.

I don’t believe this has affected any other players at this time. I’ve turned off the filter that does these changes automatically without manual review first.
"

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

My best,

Have you told Rival personally this is not an acceptable practice? I feel like if more owners stand up and say this is enough your really hurting us operators maybe just maybe they will stop doing this stupid things.

Thanks for answering so fast and handling this for us that means a lot to me as an affiliate!
