I don't have a huge problem with this........ BUT - we really need to certify programs before announcing them at AGD. Due dilligence is necessary otherwise our members and lurkers will look at this place as if it is already certified here... and it's not.

Know what I mean? :)

How to they handle progressive slots. Are affiliates to be charged for contributions to progressive slot pools? If there is a Rival casino that does not do this, I would like to know.

Also read about this issue recently.

Andy, could be a good idea for an additional AGD icon maybe?:)

signup at your own risk but most new Rivals I trust.<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

Sorry to disagree but those days are LONG GONE! It is not a trustworthy casino to me just because it is a Rival anymore. There are way to many issues coming to light with how certain Rivals are ran and this new one is not even interested in working with the affiliate partners I sent them a letter telling them they are making a grave error by bonus banning my high rollers off the bat and all I got was a canned response that they are looking into it.

Pg 2 Has my post on this issue https:// www. affiliateguarddog. com/forums/rival-needs-create-better-slots-t2212-p2.html

Is this casino going to shave or pull a grand prive? I highly doubt it.

Will they perform as good as some MG casinos? I doubt that as well but depends on how they setup their operation and payment processing.

If they don't want bonus hunters on their site that is their choice but I know the Rival system does track bonus abuse across the network. If that operator wants to let these players run free they can but it results in higher deposits and even higher cashouts.

As for that other thread I'm not getting involved in that at all! :)

All I'm saying is it's a new Rival, signup at your own risk and if you don't like Rivals you don't have to promote them. I don't know if this site will be worth your time but it should make some money and if it turns out to be a good program you'll want to get in at the start.

Hi gamingaffiliatesguide

I visited your site which is a guide for affiliates... why not put a link up for your members to find AGD? After all, you are using AGD to promote your 'affiliate' oriented site and are shilling untested Rival casinos.

When you come over here and mention an untested program with links to your signup ID, it just would seem a simple courtesy to return the favor to Andy and AGD - especially since affiliate signups is one of the ways Andy earns his living ... Most of us will be able to find new and untested programs without your affiliate links.

And HOW do you know when a program is going to go rogue - and why didn't you enlighten the entire industry that Grand Prive was going to bite us?

Because you don't know until it happens.

John you and I have been disagreeing about this for a long time and I am sure that will not change. I think your casinos would have done much better had they not taken the wrong stance against many good high rolling depositors. Cocoa and Paradise8 both went in and manually reviewed my players accounts and unbanned 100's yes I said 100's of my players and now I am earning again with 400 thanks to those 2 casinos!

The system wide banning tool Rival has is seriously flawed and that is all there is to this!!

Players that cashout out big all the sudden called bonus abusers cracks me up!

You once being an admitted bonus hunter is an issue because I think you suspect just about everyone of this behavior IMO.

Hey John - I did not realize it was you - but now I'm putting the puzzle together. I hope you forgive me for railing on you so hard here. Most of us have had it with Rival, and I remembered that new program from BonusStreak's forum. (b4 she posted the link)

Additionally I think we had brought up that "refer" a program, to get webmasters in the line of downstream revenues here and most of us decided against it to help Andy get the first tier, etc.. Other than revenue whats the point of offering up an untested program.... that was my point. Anyway, not trying to start off your green pastures in the cow dung :) hope you forgive my candid response !

Please let's agree to disagree on this one but any of this discussion I'd rather do in person and of course no hard feelings. Are p8 and cocoa making more than thisisvegas for example? I'm really not going to comment but I know the answer to that one, maybe for you they are and there is nothing wrong with that. From my experience I have done both systems of banning players versus letting them play and the casino made significantly more by banning the players that Rival has flagged.

This doesn't mean I haven't listened to anything you have said about the issue and the last marketing plan I made for Rockbet should resolve some of these issues. You'll hear and see more of it soon from Katarina and the new marketing team.

I'm always up for a good discussion but for this issue not on the forums.

Will get your interview up soon and thanks again!

Anytime an affiliate has asked me about another program usually one of the first recommendations I give is to go to AGD primarily to make sure you are promoting a legit program without nasty T&Cs. I was planning to have AGD mentioned a few times on my site but it's only been up a few weeks and I have a lot of content I still haven't loaded yet including the beginnings guide.

I will put a link up on my blogroll but I will have more mention of AGD in other parts of the site.

It's ok. I'm an affiliate now. I just read the 2nd half of your post so I didn't even know you were getting a bit mad at me but it's all good.

I have pushed AGD myself hard as an affiliate manager for existing affiliates and new affiliates. If you only had 1 place to go as an affiliate then this only website you need. I'm not shy about that and I will have the mentions on my site but it is very new. My beginners guide is going to mention it but my site is brand new.

Quick comments about the new rival casino. Will this casino pull a grand prive? I'm very confident it won't but of course I can't guarantee it. Sure I see some affiliates are fed up with Rival but let the software mature. It's not your only option to promote. I have worked with Rivals before and they don't allow for any rogue activity. I remember Andy telling me that Rival was the only program to properly record all tracking activity. I think the software is more transparent than the rest and I really don't want to attack the competing software. If you get a depositing player you get an email and you see their name in the backend.

Anyways hope my post doesn't come off as too spammy but my new website does focus on promoting affiliate programs. I can tell you that there are many programs that won't make it on my list and I'm not planning to promote programs that will give you a headache or mess around with your commissions. I have plenty of affiliate friends and I'm fairly aware of which programs give you the best ROI and which ones have been honest with them.

Last but not least I don't want to get into any more arguments about Rival and how it performs. Save it for the other thread which I really don't want to spend any time or energy on. My site will list top performing programs and I don't think any Rival is going to crack the top 3. This is all feedback I get from other affiliates. But if a new Rival casino comes out I will of course promote it, if I realize they are not worth promoting then I will drop them.

Of course the casino made more because they have banned all high rollers and whales so therefore they are not having to deal with extremely large cashouts!

Come on now John you started this thread to begin with and who is arguring I thought this was a nice friendly debate. I for one will not hush up about Rival until they start taking the concerns we have as affiliates serious and until they start treating my players they way they should be treated. I am glad your now an affiliate but you also have to stop thinking as a casino operator(now that you have left that side of the business) so I am not sure how this will pan out for you but I honestly do wish you the best.

I posted because it's a new rival program that is news. this discussion doesn't have much to do with spintime.

I know what whale players are and I know what bonus hunters are. 2 different players. I'm not here to argue, save that for another Rival affiliate manager. I never said Rival were the best software but they certainly look after their operators more than Microgaming. Once again signup at your own risk. It's a new casino and it's also not T&C verified by AGD.
