Does anyone know for sure how RTG calculates the "Gross Win" and "Credits" categories in our RTG stats for any given RTG Casino site? Where does the "Gross Win" figure come from? What formula do they use for the "Gross Win" calculation and the same for "Credits" ?

For example on one of the well known affiliate sites that I am looking at right now it states that "Our system is based on a ?Net Win', which is defined as: Deposits (minus) Credits (minus) Withdrawals/Chargebacks (equals) ?Net Win'."

I believe that the above explanation of how "NetWin" is calculated is actually not true though. The way I see that "NetWin" is calculated by all of the RTG Casinos sites I use is that they take the "Gross Win" minus "Credits" = NetWin.

I know one of you guys are bound to know the answer to this as long as you guys have been affiliates. I'm sure there's some simple explanation for these questions, I just can't seem to figure it out.:emoticon-0179-headb

Sorry Rob -- I'm not sure exactly how this is calculated. Maybe someone from an RTG affiliate program can clarify this.

Thanks for responding Dave. Hopefully, like you said maybe one of the guys from an RTG program will see this and respond. I originally thought to post it to one of the programs but then I thought it was such a general question that it should not be geared toward any one particular one.

Hi Rob

Hope this helps

Gross win is the overall ammount before deductions. another termanolgy would be Gross Revenue.

So Gross Win – Withdrawls – Chargebacks – Bonus’s – Credits= Net Win or Net Revenue.

Thanks for the response Elliott but the way RTG is registering it is (Gross Win) minus (Credits) equals (Net Win) or net Revenue. What I'm trying to figure out is how they arrive at the "Gross Win" figure and also how they come up with the "Credits" figure. Where do these figures come from, how are they calculated and by what formula? :)

Hi Guru

Gross Win is: the total amount Wagered (the amount Bet) minus the Winnings = Gross Win.

From Gross Win deductions (credits, chargebacks etc) are taken out leaving the Net Win.

Elliott.

Alright, now were getting somewhere..:)

Thanks for breaking it down Elliott, that is exactly what I had been trying to figure out. I also assume that the "credits" would be bonus coupons, manager bonuses, comps too? Or it is something totally different?
