A Dutch court has ruled that two online casino operators, including Unibet, must refund a total of EUR 217,000 to gamblers who incurred losses while online gambling was illegal in the Netherlands. The court decision was based on the illegality of online gambling at the time, and while Unibet plans to appeal, these judgments may serve as precedents for similar cases involving refunds for losses incurred before October 2021.
