All 16 states in Germany approved the measure to inaugurate the new licensing, regulatory, and taxation regime for land-based and online gaming operators. New State Treaty In Germany is set to come in effect from the first day of July.
The GluNeuRStV will allow gambling in Germany under a strict set of licensing conditions that will oblige iGaming operators to apply a variety of player protection measures. Including €1 ($1.20) maximum individual stake limits on video slots, the removal of live-dealer games and the implementation of a €1,000 ($1,206) monthly deposit cap.
