New Regulatory Measures requested by American Gaming Association

As per the official Thursday press release a letter was sent to Attorney General Merrick Garland with the appeal to protect American players, act forcefully to regulate illegal operators, and implement the regulatory measures. The letter was sent by American Gaming Association that aimed to suppress the illegal market and warned how such activities affected the players, the economy, and the legal operators.

Two problems with that:

1) Not all states have / will have legal gambling or sports betting.

2) The years of the Christian Conservatives (ugiea) are long over. Most Democrats will not
like the idea of a closed monopoly posed by this letter, if all cannot partake.

I saw a few articles on this topic this week. It seems that they are targeting sports betting operators. I saw one article that was targeting betonline and mybookie. I have a feeling this has something to do with the upcoming midterms. Like someone said in the thread, different states have different laws/rules.
