The exact date of the launch of the new National Self-Exclusivon registry is yet to be given, but is expected to go live in the following months in Australia. Register is being created to hep players who want to change their gambling habits and it will complement the existing consumer pretoection measures.

Once the registry is open, players will be able to exclude from all licensed interactive wagerin services for the period of three months to a lifetime, all personal details will be protected.

That still leaves land based casinos, RSL/League clubs, pubs, and anywhere other than online, where AU problem gamblers can do their nuts! Another waste of tax payer money to throw a band-aid on a shark bite!
