Details on technical standards and record-holding and reporting for licensees are included in the regulation presented to the European Commission. These measures also include requirement that operators make interventions.
All license-holders will be required to submit annual reports including information on the number of registered players, number on rejected registrations, number of complaints received. The Kansspelautoriteit may ask for these reports to be submitted more frequently.
The bill is set to come into effect in January 2021 with licensees permitted to launch from July 2021, six months later than was originally planned.
