Hello everyone, Long time reader first time poster.

Some of you will know me from CM.

Anyway, I started my website about 6-8 months ago on free hosting, as this was just going to be a small hobby for me and nothing to serious. I will admit my site is nothing great and could use a little work but I do still seem to get some traffic.

So in the end I did end up purchasing a domain name etc.

These are my stats for one of the casinos I promote

Total Views
3845
Total Clicks
115

I have very similar stats across all the casino I promote.

Now I have seen most people are happy with a 1% conversion.

Why do you think I have so many clicks but no sign ups?
I realise theres so many answers to that question but any input would be help full.

P.s I did not add a link to my site, Because I am new I would find this rude.

Cheers
Matt

One of the greatest mysteries in this business! ???
Those figures are very similar to what I've seen at dozens of casinos for months, if not years.
I have no more idea than you as to why this happens.

As a matter of interest, which software are your casinos?
I find some convert MUCH better than others, some of the bad ones are basically just a waste of web-space.

Welcome to the forum Matt!

Hi Matt,

Is this normal - to not add a descriptive title? Yeah pretty much.

---------

Without knowing some details, EG -

  • Casino your getting these stats from.
  • Niche your targeting (including player demographics)
  • Your site URL.

It's like asking us "how long is a piece of string!".

Cheers

actually I would consider 1 in 300 sent being real depositors as a fair conversion number.

1 in 115 ... I haven't seen that since '05 I would guess.

And I don't target keywords with the word free in them, I know some people who think 1 in a 1000 sent is a good number.

Really depends on the keywords you're getting the traffic for: and as KK mentioned, which software can also make a big difference. For that matter, casinos using the same software can have huge difference in conversions.

What I would find satisfaction is that it looks like you're getting some views. That's always a good thing.

A high % of one of my sites does just that and it's getting a ratio of 1 to 90/100 from a MGS group.

Fair comments,

The stats in question are from a well known Microgaming casino. But like I mentioned my stats are similar right across the board with all the casinos I promote, Most of my traffic comes from Europe, Russia:confused: and a handful from the U.S.A and Australia.

My URL is. (sorry didn't realize I needed more posts, you can see it in my profile as homepage.)

Its mostly a forum type website.

If you have Suggestions or criticism throw it at me I'm a big boy and can only learn.

Thanks for all the comments so far everyone greatly appreciate your time!

Cheers
