First I receive an mail from Betsson intended for someone else. It said they would downgrade the custom deal to 40% rs. The reason given: "we are not seeing any ROI or activity on your account". A while later I get a similar email direct towards me. Exact same reason.

Now, ever since Betsson took over the old GiG brands, things have started to go downhill. What used to be my most successful brands soon became mediocre. It was exactly what I expected when I learned Betsson would take over. So I am not at all surprised they try to screw their affiliates over.

Since around 2016 I have sent these brands thousands of players but for some reason, ever since the start of this year retention has been exceptionally poor and the commission has decreased substantially (to be fair, though, some big markets are gone).

At the time being, I'm not even sure if old regs will still be tagged to the old deals. I assume not. I suspect the acquisition of GiG was a massive failure and now Betsson try to bend us over to cover for their losses. I've informed them that I won't accept and that I will be removing all their brands and blacklist them. I do not depend on them and I refuse to work with brands I cannot trust.

Why on earth would I continue to send players to a program that will suddenly mess with deals whenever they feel like it. A deal is only a deal with these guys apparently as long as they feel like it. It would be downright stupid of me to keep sending players to a program like that.

So this is a warning to everyone out there who is working with Betsson or is thinking about working with them.

This is exactly what they have been doing for many years.

Betsson screwed us already many years ago. Since then we haven't worked with. Their brands was surely good but we are talking here about the partnership, their terms&conditions and how they handle partners.

Even after taking over GIG, which we had on our list, we didn't accept the migration.

All this chatter from any representatives or managers on forums to sell Betsson as "good" isn't worth the paper it's on.

About 13 or 14 years ago i was on Malta and visited the Betsson headquarter. I remember everything was still cool at this time.
After that, however, there were always new managers in charge and with them the changes.

Some colleagues may say they are working fine with this company, but i totally agree with danniee to stay away from them.
Sooner or later, they'll be kidding you.

Excatly like that!
In old good days, when affiliate lounge had their office in Stockholm 13-15 years ago, they had a great team of affiliate managers and i kind of never had any problems/issues with them.

Then, when their affiliate team was split up and most of the team moved elsewhere, i started reciving "account closedown" messages and other bullshit on account generating 10€k+ stabile income /m and had to take it to Pontus (CEO of Betsson at the time) to have accounts reopend.

Last 2-3 years i have not had to much of action with them anymore - luckely i must say! I feel bad that such a good affiliate company started such a big downfall and is now a program i would not tuch even with a stick.

The lesson here is to never put all eggs in one basket. However great a program may seem today, it can go fully rogue tomorrow.

Soon I'm going to remove all CTA to their casinos and use their casino reviews pages as a comparison and pros/cons when doing my other casino reviews. I can't see any point in working with them.

An affiliate program is ONLY good if it converts one's traffic, pays on time, and honors its word. When they go rogue or dodgy, cut the bastards loose. Better to drop bad-eggs, than the entire basket!

Hi Good Morning, We thank you for your comments. As you know, we have been in touch with you via the account manager via skype right on the same day you commented in the forum and you also agreed upon a deal a few minutes later. So we wanted to be clear as it seemed that we didnt come to any agreement. Thank you, BGA Support.
