Hi Guys

We got the below from Gaming Affiliates - a Grace Media outfit. Safe to say their UK sites will continue running - but be wary if you are an Affiliate.

Dear Affiliate,
Following a period of internal review, we have made the strategic decision to stop UK affiliate marketing and affiliate traffic.
Kindly note that as of November 1st all existing commission plans will be set to 0 per cent (%) commission. As of November 21st the programme will stop accepting UK traffic and all outstanding commission payments will be made in the final payment run in December 2022.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all your hard work promoting the Gaming Affiliates brands, and if you have any queries regarding this matter, please do not hesitate to contact your affiliate account manager.
Kind regards,
The Gaming Affiliates Team

Yep - sadly GM and to some extent PPlay are clearly using that strategy more and more. They either 'bankrupt' the programme (as with EMG Affs.) or shut it down once the casinos have sufficient players to operate. So once you've fulfilled your purpose as an affiliate, bye-bye.....

I am not sure the casino platforms are the issue. It's more competition and taxes that are the issue in the UK. Running a Casino profitably is a lot harder than it used to be and White labels who are offering crazy revshares cant make money when you take into account the rev share split with platforms. I am definitely a lot more cautious as to where to send traffic these days for the UK market as its easy as you pointed out to promise the world - get traffic and then shut up shop. Programs offering crazy revshares that are white labels should be treated with huge caution.
