French igaming regulator (ARJEL) issued responsible gaming advice during lockdown, both to the operators and players, as they noted players are attracted to play poker and casino games in absence of sport and horse racing.
ARJEL discourages operators from using bonuses to attract new players, and advises consumers to set deposit, stake and playing time limits, and if needed to self-exclude from gambling. They are also advised to avoid unlicensed gambling websites.
