So we have the Real Revenue share reports which does a great job in listing who pays what, however as most affiliates know its not just the % but also the conversion rates.. can you say a program that pays 90% of claimed rate with a 5-9% conversions is as good as a sites that pays 70% with a 30% conversion, or then we can go deeper then clicks to sign ups to FTD,s .. then on top what is a player value worth? retention? my top program doesnt pay me top % but makes me x4 than most brands. is there some way we can put a general consensus on brands by overall money making instead? how?

I wrote it in the past but for me there is only one answer to all those questions: $ per visit. That's it.

I do check if the program is stable and responsive and every over detail i can find before i sign up, but after that there is only one single parameter that matters.

In terms of consensus - that's indeed a problem as things vary a lot. I assume we can find 1-2 top dogs in each market but regarding the rest, doubt it's possible.

For example I saw few members recommending certain brand which i consider to be completely useless. The best casino on one of my sites, makes nothing on another. Many times it's about testing and finding out which one fits.

Iterative methods are best for getting a 'good enough' estimation of player value - if you could put these variables in an equation to solve it, many long hanging fruits would start to disappear. Testing different brands is like buying lottery tickets until you find the ones that work best for your site.

As for me it is still important to know whether the program is really so stable and the details that we can find before registration are very important.
