I made the Presidents List in 2011 and received honors at an EOPS Awards Ceremony for maintaining a 3.0GPA while attending classes full-time. I am 2 semesters shy from graduation.
Communication
I have had many years of experience dealing with customers and the public in general. Most of my life I worked as a food server. From the age of 15 until 2011 I was consistently employed in food service industry. I handle responsibility well, work well with people, and have the ability to problem solve on the fly.
Leadership
I worked at Denny’s restaurant in Yreka, CA (out of business) for 3 years as a Server Trainer, Safety Leader, and an 055 Jr. Assistant Manager.
I am currently a Shift Leader at Carl’s Jr. I open the restaurant 5 days a week, and my duties include counting the safe contents, making deposits for business account at local bank, counting and maintaining balanced money for business, delegate responsibilities, model-coach-require, maintain food safety and food temperature control, delivering accurate food orders on a consistent basis, Daily ROS, acting manager when GM is not present, maintain equipment, drive thru orders and accuracy, ensure guest satisfaction, establish security, inventory control, order inventory, and more.

James Gilmore is currently a full-time Art Department faculty member at the College of the Siskiyous in Weed, California, where he has taught Photography and Computer Graphics since 2000. Prior to becoming an art educator, Gilmore worked in various US museums as both a curator and exhibit designer, including the Peabody Museum at Harvard University, the Nevada State Museum, and the Redding Museum of Art & History in California.
In closing, I would like to add that I excel in anything associated with online computing, I currently own my own Wordpress blog and have self-taught myself on SEO and other Wordpress support issues. I am computer literate, and have had more than 15 years of experience working with computers and Windows OS; since Windows 98 emerged… I have some experience working on Mac OS; my college courses in the classroom on campus utilized Mac OS.
I am extremely able to delegate my priorities working here in my home. I successfully completed many of my college credits through the online college courses on Etudes. I have been a computer geek (if you will) since 2001, when I got my very first desktop computer. I continue to hone my skills and watch video tutorials on the average of 3-4 times a week just to learn new things regarding online skills.
I write on the average of 2-3 articles daily that consist of more than 300 words in order to provide original quality content for 2 active websites. I have been actively and continuously doing this since November 2013.
I have extensive experience in Microsoft Office software, as well as Adobe Imaging Software Adobe CS6 is what I currently have installed on my HP Touchsmart 310 PC (Windows 7). I have DSL internet service through Northland Cable.
