Hi all,

Just wondered if there was any easier way to get bonus terms from affiliates?

And or why they don't list the bonus terms in the actual affiliate account media centres when we are logged in and searching for a specific bonus.

It would make our work much easier, what drives me crazy is the fact we have to manually go and find the terms and conditions ourself's, in their website and sometimes some bonus rules and terms are soo hard to find, and can sometimes take 10 - 20 mins to find them :(, as affiliates i feel they should have this information in the affiliate accounts on the website so we can easily find the rules for each specific bonus, would make our life much easier.

But unless i am missing something??

No, you're not missing something - it's a right royal pain in the ass!
Even when your Aff Manager does give you some bonus terms, 99 times out of 100 the information is not complete and you have to ask more questions or look on the casino's website yourself.

Welcome to the wonderful world of affiliating!

You are right that its a pain but you are also missing something. What you're missing is that they don't really want you or anyone else examining these terms in depth. They don't want players to be aware that the awesome looking $3000 bonus is actually a $150 bonus that can be claimed on their first 20 deposits, but only after losing on all preceding deposits, that must be wagered 60x deposit plus bonus, unless they deposited with Neteller or live in Poland because then everything is doubled, only on slots, and only the ones with a spin button in the bottom left corner, except on Tuesdays when they allow keno, but only the version that pays back 82% to players, and only if they bet less than $5 per spin, unless they lose, and only if they don't play the same game for the whole bonus, but if they have a big win on the one game they aren't allowed to swap to a different game, and only if they never change their bet size, and only if they don't violate a vague and ill-defined clause about the spirit of the bonus that is left totally up to the whim of the casino, and please note that wins are limited to 5x the size of the bonus, and withdrawals are only processed on Tuesdays, but only after an account is verified which may take 5 business days, but business days are only Monday to Thursday, and so on and so on.

Its up to you how you respond to that. Most affiliates take the easy way out.

Good luck LOL, I don't think they will listen. They want their bonuses to be hard to find. I always tell my players, don't use a bonus if you want your winnings whenever you want. I hardly every use a bonus, too much trouble.

Hard bonuses can also drive away your players, they win and can't cash out and won't play again. Try to convince players that a casino is great because of the games, fast payout, great support. Not because they have such a huge bonus.

I just visit the casino and look it up myself via teh browser search feature, but the bonuses are tied to too many rules that favor the casino. don't even get me started.

wow, well, you summed it up, that was funny to read, loved it and it is soo true :).. i will be staying away from casinos that have these types of rules anyway :)

@byebyebaby - we will see, i am very good at getting my voice heard. when i was a player, all the casinos know me well :), and they know that i am a complainer. so watch this space, unibet has already said they will start sending emails on a weekly basis, and thanks for the feedback, i spoke to a new affiliate manager via skype. :).

@slotplayer - i hear ya :)

I let my players know in many of my bonus articles, that a bonus is great if your looking for hours of entertainment or extended play time.. But if you just want to try and double or triple your deposit and cashout, declining the bonus is the best way to do that.

Simple, true and trustworthy.. However once in a while you will stumble onto a really good bonus.

Its all in how you word it.. You are trying to sell something after all.

That's funny!
I dumped Unibet in August last year for the one simple reason that they didn't have the terms of their Welcome Bonus ANYWHERE on their website
Good luck trying to whip them into shape!

Please let me know which.

Some i have listed, like for example casinos with wagers where it requires deposit + bonus, yes might be seen as those type, but those that do have deposit + bonus wager rules, the wager is not more than 40X.

Of course even 40X for a bonus + deposit wager rule is a joke, i totally am on your sides, but i don't think that one falls into the rogue category, cos they are trustworthy casinos.

And that is our unique way we are listing them, we will not be listing any casinos that do have 50X wager rule that is bonus + deposit, because yes i strongly agree that casinos that do have a wager on the actual deposit as well as the bonus is wrong, but at the end of the day i am an affiliate now, and because we choose not to promote rogue casinos it is our unique selling point (USP), then we wouldn't have many more to advertise would we.

But all the casinos that fall under the 50X deposit + bonus rule we will list, and we will make it VERY clear on our site the rules, we are not going to be an affiliate that lies and cheats to our potential customers, because at the end of the day, we want to be the best, we want to be unique, and we want to set a standard in the market, that the rogue casinos can not flourish.

Even those casinos that do have crazy high wager rules can be big names sometimes and very reputable casino, and that is also something we will take into account when choosing to list a specific casino or not.

and @KasinoKing - The terms in unibet was in the registration page for the bonuses, and yes i know they updated their website a while ago, and your probably referring to their old site, so i don't recall if it was the same then too, as i cant remember.
