Sounds pretty funny, I know ;)

However - I just elimated all the 'fake users' I could find. I want to keep the AGD Member list as 'real' as possible, so on occasion I go through and purge users that have registered, but do not belong here either because:

1. They are here only to spam (i.e., no posts, but URLs in their profile that do not make sense for our industry)

2. Signed up with a fake email address and have no posts

So, now we are back to 1994 users! Woohooo! ;D

Good one Andy! While some boards artificially inflate their membership or keep on spammy ones you say no way. Taking quality rather than quantity only puts the AGD higher on the positive board scale IMO.

And in this industry we need trust.

I google IP and mail address for every new user at my forum.

If stopforumspam.com does show up in SERPS I delete that user.

Is this sufficient moderation?
