Been noticing a trend in relation to a number of certified programs here at AGD, where there is little to no involvement by the program. As an example, there was a thread commenced in the AffEurope forum on April 7, 2014 and the AM did not respond until June 1, 2014.

It's good to know these programs have had their tracking & T&C's vetoed. Though as an affiliate I also need to know, if I send an email or try to contact my AM, I will receive a timely response. If I can't get that and they are not active within their forum, then no amount of accreditation is going to get me to promote them.

Given the AGD seals is free, I think it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect each accredited program, to make at least one (1) weekly appearance in their programs forum... just sayin :)

Good point. In my opinion communication is right near the top of my list when I am looking for a program to promote. From experience, poor communication will lead to other problems and issues down the line.

Another problem with that section of the forum is that their are affiliate programs still listed
that are no longer in operation. It would be much better if only active, responsive programs
were listed there and any programs that had threads but have since closed could be moved
over to the archive. Putting the closed programs into an archive would still allow affiliates
to search for information about them without presenting them to affiliates in the forum.

I'm proactive when I pick a program. I sent the program an email or two before joining and ask a few questions. I measure the effort used in the response to aide in making my decision.

Don't worry, we all agree with you here ;) I've been concentrating on getting these new forums up and implementing some new changes to 'information' on each program. The plan was to look over all programs again and categorize better - it's taking longer to get to that than expected :(

You should somehow put an "Expected wait time" on average for response times... Works for hospitals :) But really... I think we all appreciate a next day response at the latest..

In my emails to AM's I always says something like "when you get a chance". I think it may take the pressure off a little if they're overwhelmed.
