This video was posted a couple of days ago and talks about the American Gaming Association's change of policy regarding online gambling. It looks quite innocent at the first sight but when looking into it deeper it's quite explosive:

AGA Jumps on the Online Gambling Bandwagon: APCW Perspectives Weekly 26 March 2010 - Gambling Portal Webmasters Association

The funny thing here is that AGA is basically the trade organization of the B&M outfits in the US and the only reason they "jump on the online gambling bandwagon" because its members started to consider - for whatever reason - the legalized - in whatever form - version of online gambling less of a threat than the current situation; otherwise this kind of move would happen long time ago (the previous position was of indifference which translates to: we don't give a s*it about you).

The crazy part in it is when they take seriously what they talk about you'll see the b&m outfits fighting to abolish UIGEA for their online competitors.

Got the manouvre now on a second thought:

The tactic is to trash the "illegal" competition via UIGEA and at the same time slowly start to to talk about the "legalization" of the market.
