Just saw this email. I do not actively promote this brand but it might be useful for someone who does.

Immediate shut down of the Canadian market!
Dear Partners

Yesterday we signed and sealed the deal with the Canada-based Intertain Group (www.intertain.com), which is now the full owner of Vera&John and Dumarca Gaming Ltd.

As a result of this deal, we will have to cease the access and availability of our services within the Canadian market.

We realize that this is very short notice and we thank you for your understanding of our position.

We fully believe that we have secured a unique opportunity, which will allow us to offer multitudes of strong and unique brands to your valuable players, whilst also enabling coverage across many countries and territories throughout the world.

For those of you who have worked in the Canadian market, please rest assured that all current player-balances will be paid out to the players in full, and any outstanding affiliate commission will be paid as per usual.

As we all know, our "playground" is continuously changing, and for every market that closes there are tons of new opportunities on the horizon. We look forward to discussing exciting new alternatives with you.

Feel free to contact us if you need advice on new territories.

They are quite big in Scandinavia and convert very well with Swedish players. I'm a bit surprised they are now owned by a Canadian company.

Predarory terms anyway. Nonsense about paying out progressives over 10 months.

It was the when I declined to promote them about a year and a half ago. I remember being ignored repeatedly when I seeked clarification.

I keep reasonably accurate notes on issues I encounter with every program.

I don't see the progressive clause any longer but I see this:

Upon requesting a withdrawal of winnings exceeding €100,000, Vera&John reserves the right to payout the requested amount incrementally over 10 consecutive months, with one payout each calendar month.

and

Vera&John reserve the right to restrict payouts to €5,000 per week.

There are no specific progressive clauses. I interpret that first to imply progressives as well. If that is true it stinks.

Well pointed out, justred.

Vera & John is a bigger scale casino that should never implement any such term. This is bs alltogether, especially for the bigger bettors who would most certainly never deposit again after requesting a withdrawal and realizing they won't get paid before the next year or so.

WHERE do you see that?
It's not in their General T&CS: https://www.verajohn.co.uk/about/terms-and-conditions
Unless the rules are different for different countries. I'm in the UK - where are you viewing the terms from?
