We have someone who runs a few small PPC campaigns for us with Google Ads. We started a new re-targetting campaign a few days ago direct to our Casino page.
On the surface it appears to be going well, however when I look a little more into and compare it with our analytics its cause for concern.
For example, if we have been charged for 500 clicks to our website, our Google anaylitics says we have for example only 400 visits to the website, less that we have been charged for. That's without taking into consideration the traffic we get organically and from Social Media.
Secondly the campaign is set up to only target users from the UK, and Google ads say every click has come from that GEO.
When you again look at the Google Analytics around 20% of the traffic is from the UK, tbe rest is from all over the world.
Anyone else had a similar experience? Be great to get some feedback/suggestions before I contact google directly.
