I agree... It is a step in the right direction if google keeps things in line. People and webmasters who put a lot of hard work into their sites will be rewarded. I am sure it will take some adjusting for all of us, but I think long term it will be good for us, especially in this industry.

I currently use PHPBB and it is ok. I think I may move over to vbulletin or do some research on some wordpress plugins and my entire site is done using wordpress...

For me, January was down as well from previous months... February has started out ok, and hopefully it will be a lot better than Feburary.

For solid, cheap hosting, I use Hostgator.com They have been great to be over the years and their customer support is second to none. They also offer 24/7 live chat support which I really enjoy to use as well so I dont have to sit on hold on the telephone.

Does anyone know if something similar to this exists in Canada? I have never come across anything, but I would be interested to know. This is borderline an invasion of privacy... They are on a fine line of the law on this one.

I say this posting in another forum that I read. I agree with you... This is a good step to help keep the honest webmasters in good shape in the search engines as well.
