@bonustreak - huge ruckus over at GPWA concerning these latest closures.

While I agree this latest double-crossing is "predatory", I'd go one more and say, this is nothing more than theft of commissions and players, from affiliates, most, loyal to Betsson for years. The doghouse is where they belong!

For such old brands it is ridiculous to demand 10 FTDs for every 6 months. And then wipe off affiliate accounts that can be 10+ years old with hundreds - even thousands of players. But I guess that's the purpose of these clauses after all.

Betsson Group Affiliate are criminals and scammers, stay away.

Guys, the only way to get justice is to spread the news everywhere, everyone must stay away from these scammers and their online casinos.

I've seen varied degrees of 'blacklists' constructed over almost 24 years in this game, and it pretty much amounts to nothing. The only programs/operators these actions affect are new-programs. If a new operator is screwing affiliates, they're going out of business, or are about to do a Wash... Rinse... And Repeat.

Most people don't care about the homeless. Just like most players don't care about operator X or affiliates.

You want to do something that may catch the attention of main-stream media, issue Press Releases.

What's to stop any other affiliate program from doing this in the future?
As much as all this is upsetting, I am seriously considering my actions here.

I am thinking about the following sequence of events, for example -
I replace them, with a new operator.
The new operator gets all my new leads, and Betsson closes my account due to inactivity.
I lose the old players because I don't want to encourage them or whatever right?

The new operator, down the road, changes their terms.
And the process repeats.

Why not just stay with Betsson and keep the accounts active?

I know it sounds like throwing in the towel, but seriously...
Are there alternatives where these types of situations truly can't occur?

They will find another reason to close your account or reduce your commission... For example, they will start questioning quality of your traffic, they will start making loads of new excuses... trust me, this is the life...

Surprisingly enough, I've never, ever promoted them. Signed up well oodles of years ago. I still receive their mailers, and marketing info. Never brought them 1 player.

Looks like those who have had their accounts closed, it's a crooked cash grab.

You can stick with Betsson... as long as you are confident you can bring in 10 brand new players in every 6-month period.

As a small affiliate myself, I would doing well if I got one or two in 6 months... but there's no way I could GUARANTEE that.
That's why they closed my account - bloddy impossible quotas.

And that's the same reason I have been STOLEN from by dozens of other operators.
Even Videoslots finally dumped me last March, despite the fact that my referred players are still to this day depositing £6,000 to £10,000 every month...

I warned affiliates back in 2012 when VideoSlots were still newbies.

But as always I was scoffed at, insulted and basically told to fuck-off with my theories.

Same happened with Brightshare/Spiral Solutions, when I told everyone in 2010 they were connected to Fortune Lounge Group, and that FL were also connect to Carmen Media (River Belle, Referback etc.).

£6,000 to £10,000 every month is a lot of depositing players, and you, like every other affiliate who trusted VS, have been royally bent over and shafted by these crooks.

I don't see your mate CM doing anything about VideoSlots.

He still earns coin from them. I bet he gets paid more than 5% commission. He's more than full aware of what VS have done to their affiliates.

When Affiliate Edge bent their affiliates over, they also shafted CM too.

Every time this happens, he gets on his soap-box and claims any affiliate who continues to promote program X, Y or Z is a "rogue" affiliate. Yet... Here is CM still promoting, and earning from VideoSlots.com.

He could do a LOT but does NOTHING to help!

VS have shafted their players too.

Yet, the powers that be, who are supposedly 'looking after players interests' (and I'll add those who are claiming to care about affiliates welfare), turn a blind eye. I see they still work with these crooks.

Likewise, I've just been shafted by rewards affiliates/casino rewards et al, not only to the tune of approx AU$10K+ a month in commissions, but more so, approx AU$366,000.00 in NZ Tax Invoices, which I'm well within my rights as an Australian citizen to request these tax invoices from RA.

RA/CR et al have mountains of proof against them for not only conducting nefarious scams, but also evidence that they have, at times, to not pay winners, have physically gone into their T&C's and retroactively changed terms to meet their agendas. That on top of now, it seems, NZ Tax Fraud!

But does anyone with any pull do anything? No... Instead certain entities provide RA/CR with a safe habour, and actively deflect their wrong-doings with excuses, lies or worse!

This industry is a pile of crap - built mostly on a pack of lies.

GPWA was founded by Cindy and a band of affiliate founders. All with the vision, that gambling affiliates needed a voice, to ensure they were given a fair, and equal playing field, as affiliates.

They got strong quickly. BUT we can't have that can we. So, a certain few, set out to discredit, not only Cindy with character assignation, but armed with severe prejudice, to undermine the core of this org. Didn't take long and the GPWA started to crumble from within.

So GPWA was an 'Evil Dooer' when Cindy et al ran it. Yet, when M.C purchased it in circa 2007, it was

You have to ask yourself... Is AussieDave really a crazed lunitic, spreading untrue rants?

Or... Is he really one of the few folks in this industry telling the WHOLE truth!

And if so, is this why those at risk of being uncovered for the ravenous wolves they are. Is this why they've character assignated him for ALL these years. Can't have the truth being told!

One of the main people responsible for character assignating the GPWA founder (Cindy), was also one in the same who used the same BS on me, and many others over the years.

The American Anti Gambling Council (?) back in 2007, released an extensively researched paper. Most of it involved connecting the dots between large USA Corps., and land based gambling entities.

However, they also included a 4 - 5 page expose` about online gambling. The people spotted lighted in that report, they called them the: Online Gambling Cartel.

I wont say the names in that report, I'm sure if anyone is interested, you can hunt that *.PDF down. I will say however, the folks that you'd think would be on that report are.

If those who think I can be closed down by STEALING my rightful income, and or trashing my name, then your sorely mistaken. I'll bring you and your crooked thievery and lies into the daylight, and call you out!

Well, that could be a problem because... I noticed a significantly lower number of signups during December and January, so I asked a colleague to register through my tracking link and guess what - the registration was not recorded in my account. I contacted the affiliate manager, and he said that the tech team told him that some data was indeed missing and that it would show properly tomorrow (which was yesterday), but that didnt happen. I'll contact again on Monday.

So anyway, if they want to ban you, they can do that whenever they want one way or another.

I really do hope that this is just another technical issue as otherwise they will force me to stop promoting them and then suspend my account even though I have hundreds of active players. I promote them in a small country and half of that country visit my websites, so I'm not sure if it would look good for them if they dropped from first spot to last spot on my top lists, since they spend millions on marketing and obviously plan to invest further in that market.

Betsson appear to be "doing a Kindred". Also known as "doing a Skybet". Close off all your affiliates, shrink costs, pull out of markets, and lay off staff.

Then, hey presto, someone takes over the business now it's slimmed down and trim.
