RTG ones do ;)

Back on topic: I haven't noticed anything strange with my stats.

The only thing I have noticed is their affiliate reporting system is fucking SHIT!
Who designed this piece of garbage???
When I look at the Rev Share report, it's so deep I can't get to the scroll bar at the bottom - WTF is all that empty grey space for???
And then the first 15 or so columns are BLANK (unless you expand each casino) - you have to scroll right to see the $ figures - by which time you can no longer see which casino they relate too.
And you have to use several different reports to get all the information - why can't it all be on one like the IA systems?
Crap like this really gets on my tits! (In case you hadn't gathered that).
[/rant]

Have a nice day! :)

Apparently they have a "no forums" policy

That's been their status qou now for a few years.
Wim the FL rep @ CM used to be very responsive and helpful but I think he too is MIA.

I have some theories on a few things with FA. Granted, they are only theories.. Here are some questions.....

Questions we all need to pose to Fortune Affiliates:

· Can affiliates have screenshots from the Microgaming backend? Currently there is a lot of talk about data not working – but no evidence of that. I think we should all be asking for these screenshots (which are truly the only proof of what is happening).

· We have heard at least 2 reasons for the data issue:
o We were migrating servers
o We implemented a new tax algorithm

So – what is the real reason for this? I believe we should be made aware of what is happening. FA’s own terms and conditions state: We will track the registration of all Players referred and track their purchases and losses for the purposes of calculating Commissions due to You.
o If this is true – then we have a right to screenshots and visibility into what is happening with our stats. At this point, we cannot accurately state that you are fulfilling your end of the contract.

Questions you need to ask yourself (and possibly to FA):

  • How can FA 'manually adjust' stats, if they are pulling directly from Microgaming? Wouldn't the next 'pull' just overwrite?

  • How can player id’s be duplicated in someone’s stats? If there is a duplication of some sort, wouldn’t it be due to a mis-management of a second data layer?
    • Since the main primary key would be the player id itself, there should be no join whereby that primary key (player id) is duplicated when querying from the Microgaming dataset. Any issue with duplication in this arena would only be due to NOT using the DISTINCT keyword. That would be an easy fix… seconds, not days or weeks.
    • Since the only way we could be 100% sure that the playerid was correct was looking at other fields like ‘last date played’ – why was that removed from the stats?
  • How can those players (with duplicated id’s) then have different numbers in regards to their casino play.. when prior to the issue – the data was the same?

  • When stats came back – why did affiliates lose money? Where did that money go and why was it removed? Why $2,500… Why $5,000? Those aren’t minor loses.

  • If all of this points to multiple databases – then why do they have multiple databases?

  • Why does FA continue to use a ‘high roller policy’ without transparency into their high roller withdraws and deposits?

  • Finally - WHY is FA silent when all of their affiliates are in the lurch wondering what is going on?

I think we all deserve answers to these questions. Not one-by-one behind closed doors via email, skype, or PM. We need a public acknowledgement of what is going on here. This is our money that we have earned in GOOD FAITH towards FA. We deserve accurate statistics and we deserve audit-able accounting when things are not working.

I agree. It is extremely confusing that they are ignoring this issue altogether while their website has not been working for a long time and their statistics displayed entirely goofed up numbers on multiple occasions. Of course they may continue their silence and post about their ongoing promotions instead, but this will not add any credibility to their brand at all.

I also do not recall FL sending any notification about this downtime to their affiliates.

This all happened at the end of Jan and the "last date played" was removed in Jan on stats. Seems odd

I agree on high roller data should be displayed as they do not give any details on that at all even when they play back all you get is that 0 is left in clawback but doesn't display if they played over the amount and owe commissions on that.

How can FA 'manually adjust' stats, if they are pulling directly from Microgaming? Wouldn't the next 'pull' just overwrite?

On paper that's how it should work, given this "data" is apparently pulled directly from Microgaming.

If all of this points to multiple databases – then why do they have multiple databases?

Lets review some important points...
  • Conflict of interest held between FA/FL/BS/BP/SP/BW and MGS - they're all owned by the same entity.
  • Brightshare was accused of operating a double database & untagging players. (don't forget the ASUSA debacle).
  • The Migration of UK players from the aforementioned casinos to Betway and the migration of Red Returns et al.
personal thought - is this shaving on a grand scale?

derail (something worth considering)... Grand Prive - they acquire a second (2'nd) database from Microgaming. Wouldn't it be the Ruse of the Decade if the entity who controls MGS and all the above casinos/aff programs, also owned GP, hey! /derail

My Brightshare AM has been MIA for months, and as far as Wayne from FA, haven't heard from him since he returned to FA. Of course both programs don't seem to have any problem sending out their monthly aff newsletters.

In other businesses where we would be "partners", it would be common-place to receive a full (nothing left out) monthly break-down of activity. However not here I'm afraid. It's the Ace up the sleeves of the majority (if not all) affiliate programs in this industry.

Start putting some cash away for a rainy day - I can see dark clouds forming on the horizon.

I do not think there is any reports. The website is still down, or is that just me?
