Hello All,

I have done some sports betting stuff few years ago and i have been considering doing a casino affiliate based wordpress as a starter site. Just wondering if the U.S. market is worth even getting into affiliate options and earnings wise ? Or do you now have to target markets outside of the states to make any real profits ?

Thanks in advance !

You're probably best to stay away from the US market, at least until the gov't decides what they are going to do.

I know the poker and sports betting area's of online gambling have really taken hits but i haven't really kept up with the online casino niche , but i figured they were having as much trouble because of the problems moving money around for us players. Im just not sure im as confident in being able to target non-u.s. players in a profitable way. Which is why i am still on fence as to if i want to invest into it.

You can target UK and Canadian players. They speak English (parts of Canada). I think, if you work hard at it, there is always money to be made in this industry.

The Canadian market was one of my first thoughts. But then my next question i asked myself is with the US market drying up and so many established affiliates moving out and to these other area's how saturated is a market like Canada now. Seems like it could be a up hill climb timing wise.

I don't agree that the US market is drying up.

Actually, I see just the opposite.

Lots, Thanks for the reply. Really even with all the processing problems there seem to be now getting money to and back offshore ? Or is it not so extreme of a problem as i am thinking it is ? I have played offshore sports book wise but i have never really been a online casino player as i can do that locally. Just figured with the new laws and money movement issues there would be quite a drop in online sign ups and conversion rates.
