I've seen a few threads recently where people have said that they prefer pushing Microgaming casinos.

I've never really had any luck with them at all - so where am I going wrong? Which casinos do you guys find convert and retain players well? I really feel I should be getting some kind of return from them.

Cheers,

Probably easier and to prevent doubling up that you provide a list of the MGS casinos you have or are currently promoting. At that point people maybe able to provide some tips or more targeted feedback.

We do great with Go Wild, 32% conversions this month that is great! Not to mention we have players in there from 2005 still, so the player retention is really great as well.

Knowing Yoni and his dedication and longivity, Go Wild is a top outfit.

However I'm a strong advocate for A/B testing these days. Poor sign-ups could easily come down to the manner in which an affiliate presents the casino. Any smal number of little things that may not seem important, can influence a punter to either download; sign-up and deposit, or not.

By running an A/B test, it allows you to tweak a page/content and see if to makes a positive difference.

I also think running casinos which are target to your traffic is paramount. Whilst also knowing the casino is doing their best to not only convert the players your sending but also run a well oiled retention team. As a side note, casinos who run on number crunching volumes of traffic, are not IMHO good for small affiliates.

Targeted traffic is precious, sending streams of players to a casino which doesn't work hard to convert each and every player you send, costs you income which could be earned elsewhere. Generally you have one or two goes to get a punter signed up and playing. Why risk this if all your hard work is in vein and the player leaves your site, maybe never to return again.

Edit: It used to be the affiliates job to send players to the casino and the casinos job to convert them into depositing players. These days the goal posts have moved and the affiliate has to work harder to convince the punter to play at XYZ casino.

That's not a bad thing but again if your doing all the work and the casino your sending these players to are not working for you, then it's time to find another casino to promote...just saying!

Over the years, I have had a complaint about every program but that doesn't mean they are wrong or bad. I tell new people that I work with to use the programs that they feel have the least quirks and that they make the most with. It's different for us all!

What I expect out of any Microgaming casinos and I'll round it off to make it easy. If I send them 10 players a month, after a year, they better be bringing the same amount of old players back monthly.

For me, without a doubt, Rewards does this month in and month out for me. I know thats not the popular thing to say right now lol.

Star Partners, Fortune Lounge and Wager Share do too. I have players dating back to 2004 with all these program.

In closing many affiliates will have some problem with any or all of these programs at one time or anohter. You just have to use whats best for you and your sites.

Hope that helps a little ;)

Thanks for the replies everyone. At the moment, I'm promoting Wagershare, 32Red and JackpotCity but not really seeing much from any of them although admittedly they haven't been in top positions apart from a few months ago when JPC bombed rather spectacularly.

I see the best conversion and retention with Rewards Affiliates and Red Returns.

Which Rewards brands are you promoting Engineer?

GoWild is our best program from the MG casinos.
They do a wonderful job in retention.

Referback and Redreturns doing great too, and Rewards Affiliates added up nice lately.
