I'm new here, so I wanted to introduce myself, I'm a new casino affiliate, so all advice is welcome!
I looked around the site and I'm pretty impressed, lots of details and help.
What should I do to improve my site on-line-poker.net?
Thanks!
Michael

Hi Michael,

Welcome aboard AGD :)

Outa interest, did you have this domain for ages.... 1'st registered in 2007, just wondering why it's taken you this long to setup the site?

Took a quick look at you site. If it was me, I'd drop the BIG logo. It takes up way too page space, which imo, the complete home page (and other pages) would look even better if they didn't have that BIG logo. After all your welcome message, states your domain name, which, given its in text, will do you more value than this logo. I'd also lose the background too. It's 309Kb in size, way too big for a bg, if your not using your own server & also not using a CDN (content delivery network).

Here's a breakdown on your total home page loading times:
http://www.webpagetest.org/result/140529_NX_QTX/

A 5 sec load time might sound fast but best to try and get that figure to 3 sec or less. It's well known, after 5 sec people will start hitting the back button if a site does not fully load. So if for whatever reason, your site takes a bit longer to load, you could risk losing punters...just saying.

Apart from that, I think it's a good job for a noobie.

As the months go on you may decide to try other affiliate programs and promote less known poker rooms. The probably with promoting well know places like 888, Landbrokes etc etc, they use extensive marketing, so it's more than likely, players will go directly to these sites. I'd also recommend, if you only doing Poker, that you also join an affiliate forum which is in that niche. While I'm sure affiliates here do promote poker, AGD generally caters to casino affiliates. Hence, while we can advise and you can find info about being an online gaming affiliate, you might not find too much info relating to Poker per se.

Looks nice, for me the page loads very fasy, but as bet4You said, test this for people that might have a slower connection? Also I would drop Party and any Party brand, they, in my opinion, can not be trusted and won't make you money.

Good work! It is really good for a first attempt. You wouldn't even want to see my first attempt :) I would definitely optimize the background and the logo. As much content as you can display is always good - so shortening the logo is helpful. You can actually square it up with the banner to the right and remove some margin above and below to shorten the header without actually losing logo size.

Great work, though.
