Fortune Affiliates is now Rogued at AGD. I am sure I will be contacted by the fine folks over there as they have certainly been communicative and friendly in the past regarding this exact matter.

However - please read this thread:

https://www.affiliateguarddog.com/c...as-fa-bp-been-removed-from-rogue-status.8339/

Fortune Affiliates are still working with a known hacker. I also have talked to them [previously] about this and asked them about their 'ties' to this hacker. As mentioned in the thread above, their casinos are placed on the main website of the hacker. Websites pointing/redirecting to this hacker's website are WP hacks and other hacks whereby the hacker has inserted his own content into another webmaster's website for the sole purpose of ranking/spamming casino properties. Fortune Affiliates seems quite happy to take advantage of this traffic - which means they are not reliable or honorable.

Please do NOT continue to send traffic to a program that will knowingly support illegal activities.

Hi,

Please note that Fortune Affiliates has been dealing with this issue since October last year and as a result all brands marketed through Fortune Affiliates have been removed from the hackers’ sites. All affiliate accounts associated to the hackers have been closed and locked. Should anyone come across a site that is still promoting our brands please bring it to our attention so that we can attend to it urgently.

Best Regards,
Fortune Affiliates

Hi Frank,

We started investigating this issue and closing accounts in October, in doing so we became aware of other sites and affiliates working within this network and have had to close and lock their accounts too.

So no it has not taken us since October to close an account. Furthermore, its not just a matter of closing the accounts on our side but we also need the affiliates cooperation to remove our brands and links.

Best Regards,
Fortune Affiliates

We all know that you could have redirected the links to a blank page, FA never did.

But the hacker removed other brands very quickly once they were informed not to get paid.

I find your answer very fishy regarding their cooperation as you can report these hackers to the authorities because you have the details.

You have been aware of this for a long time, probably now the partnership is not that fruitful anymore you closed the hackers accounts.

Not once you have made an apology to the community about the immense damage these hackers have made to fellow portals by stealing their content and other parts regarding SEO.

Fact that will remain is you are a criminal organisation in my book, I will never trust your program again.

Seconded ! Fortune Affiliates these days they are either useless or as you say inspiration a "criminal organisation" either way your wasting your time promoting them.

Looks like the honeymoon is about over for the hackers & the many programs that have associated with them. I also wonder what kick backs some AM's may have been getting from working with the hackers across all these programs (& not seeing anything) a little Neteller gift maybe? anyway Earn Big, Live Large at FA - HA HA HA !

Listen guys.... They did the RIGHT THING. Why blast them for it? Seriously, what does everyone want???? resolutions or not? Keep acting this way and no program will even care what you think.

ok... I'm done. Getting a little pissy because I went through all posts since yesterday and there was WAY more bitching and complaining even when resolutions were happening than any positive messages. Let's get it together people.

GOOD WORK FORTUNE! I know it took awhile and I know that you had to do a thorough job to get this resolved. I, for one, very much appreciate the efforts.

Stay positive and ut your personal feelings aside folks when a program does the right thing now matter how long it took it happened! Maybe it took Andy that long to negotiate this change so IMO it would be more product to say thanks FL and most of all thanks Andy for working so diligently on resolving this!!

Affiliate programs are not going to work with us at AGD and agree making changes to the better when all they get is blasted no matter what they do!

I know how you feel Andy but seriously they have had months to reply on AGD or GPWA but they chose not to (also not responded via email or PM) and allowed the hackers to continue once they felt the pressure and the negative impact on their reputation they decided to do the right thing.

Although the outcome is positive, many feel betrayed and any group with integrity would never have allowed these criminals to continue for months in a row.

That makes all the difference to me.

YES it is bittersweet that is all I can say about this fiasco.

It's easy to moan and bitch and condemn, but if we continue in that vane we are all screwed. I think a positive action deserves a positive response, so well done to AGD and Fortune Affiliates and long may you continue to keep it "clean".

Staying positive is a good thing.
However how many accounts did FA allow this hacker to open?

Seems to me, like always, until its starts creating negative press for a program, they don't give two hoots about their affiliate partners...just sayin.

Next time it happens (I have no doubt it will), I'll be telling you all... see, I told you so :D

Glad I kicked them to the curb long ago...

Yes also true, guess emotions took control LOL.

I hope Fortune Affiliates will do the right thing from now on.

Thanks AGD for this great forum to vent our concerns and your help to this situation being solved.

We can only hope other programs will follow.

Fortune has been in CONSTANT communication with me regarding this. They have tracked down ALL of the accounts. It isn't as easy as you may think. They have to be dilligent. It is also not an easy thing, in advance, to know someone is a hacker. They are doing their best at FA and I applaud them for being very thorough on their quest to clean out the bad affiliates.

Lets hope not the less money these hackers get the better we are off and we do not have to do the tarring and feathering.............

It isn't as easy as you may think.

How hard can it possibily be, to visit the injected doorways pages of the hacked sites (not like they weren't given urls), take a list of the Btags and look up the account holder(s)

You know I like you Andy but shooting from the hip...

I think someone at FA has been pissing in your pocket over the length of time its taken... just sayin.
