Once again we the affiliates are going to bare the brunt of a processor leaving AND we are now</PRE>
also blamed for this processor going down!! Amazing how Rivals continually throw us affiliates</PRE>
under the bus, this is the last straw for me we are having a meeting to determine if all Rivals need to come </PRE>
down from our sites. How dare they accuse the affiliates for this!! </PRE>

Dear Affiliates,

I am writing to inform you that unfortunately we have lost GATM eCheck processor. This was a major processor for Deckmedia and a lot of money is owed to us by Echeck which appears to be lost at this stage.

Echeck was having issues with its confidential name 'GATM'. This term (GATM) leaked out across the internet and they contacted us on several occasions requesting that we ask affiliates to remove all references of 'GATM' from those gambling related sites listing it. Lots of affiliates assisted with this which was greatly appreciated. However many affiliates refused and the term 'GATM' remains on many sites and now the company has gone offline and is not responding.

In the past Deckmedia have taken huge loses upon us to ensure that affiliates have not lost out in such circumstances. For example, when Deckmedia lost Ewalletxpress and Mastercard, Deckmedia took the FULL hit ensuring all affiliates were paid the full amount for those months.

I regret to inform you that this time round Deckmedia will not be able to take these loses from Echeck and those affiliates who have earnings from Echeck deposits will have those earnings deducted. This will take place on the 31st March.

This is not a decision which was made easily and I apologize to all of those who will be affected by it.

Please try to understand the circumstances. This is a loss for everybody and unfortunately was out of our control.

Kind Regards,

Paul

There's a couple of things here.

1) It appears that GlobalATM have just disappeared with the cash. If they had chosen to withdraw from the market because their name was becoming too visible, they would have paid the appropriate moneys to the casinos and stopped offering processing in an orderly manner.

If the funds had been seized by the federal government, I'm sure that this would have been mentioned, but it's strangely absent on all the emails I've received from Rival casinos.

That's clearly not what has happened here. It seems like they've done a runner. This, of course, isn't the fault of the affiliates.

2) DeckMedia, Affiliate Wide and other Rivals did ask affiliates to stop mentioning the name of their eCheck processor because of concerns that they would lose GATM as a processing option.

However, losing GATM as a processing option is not the same as the company running away with the cash.

A more cynical mind than my own might suggest that GATM have played Rival casinos quite successfully by setting up a circumstance under which they could do a runner with the money and yet escape the blame.

Of course, if I'm wrong about GATM and their conduct here, then they should have no problem paying out the appropriate amounts to the appropriate parties.

It's not ONLY Rival Casinos that have lost eCheckUS and/or the eCheck Brand, but most all Microgaming and RTG Casinos that offered it has now lost the processor too.

eCheck had been a big player in the online gaming market for many years, albeit Rival and RTG had just recently added them but many of the Microgaming Casinos and also a slew of the poker rooms have offered this same 'brand' service for years now.

GATM was just their card brand, their private ATM card and that site is still up and live on the net.

So is Echeck gone completely, or just this GATM card?

Could players also use other echeck options?

Is this correct? My understanding of eChecks is there are a number of processors who offer this option, not just GATM.

Indeed, back when I was a pure play SEO, I worked with a well known company that processed eChecks for merchants in the USA and they have nothing to do with the online gambling industry.

In fact, on the other thread here, there's an email from Tropica who state specifically that they already have a new eCheck processor up and running.

However, I would appreciate some reassurance/disappointment from RTG or MGS operators.

You're confusing echeck as a general term with the actual Brand Name eCheck and eCheckUS Brand Name that I was speaking of above.

Sure, there are many "echeck" processors out there that are still certainly a viable option for the player and Rival have already replaced the eCheck Brand with another 'echeck' (non-branded) processor.

Some of Microgamings "level-11 casinos" have also already replaced the "eCheck Brand" with Logan Pay.
