Alpha Affiliates Complaint - UNRESOLVED

Hi all. I currently haven't been paid for the commission earned back in July / August of this year promoting one of Alpha Affiliates brands. I promoted this brand via network Vortex Ads but they have said that all commissions are on hold as per the request by Alpha Affiliates. I don't know where I stand with my current situation as I have never experienced such crazy holds like this before and I have never had issues with my traffic. I would like to try to resolve this issue ASAP.

I still don't have any more updates so far. As things stand, the payment is still on hold.

There's your problem.

Dealing with and agreeing to, the promotion of a 3'rd party, with a 3'rd party, means you have NO agreement with Alpha Affiliates. This is a good-example of why working with an affiliate network, is never a good idea. Because, the agreement is with the 3'rd party, not the actual affiliate program.

Hence, if things go pear shaped, and your owed money, and the Network wont pay you, well...

I guess nothing else can be done if they are not responding to your emails regarding the payment being on hold.

As @AussieDave has highlighted, dealing with 3rd parties makes things more complicated having these extra parties involved.

Hopefully, anyone reading this thread can learn from my mistake of not working directly with Alpha Affiliates in the first place, although they are still following shady practices to a certain degree, regardless of who they refuse to pay.

I will share any updates should things change any time in the future.
